The Prophetically Chronological Psalms

The Prophetically Chronological Psalms

The individual Psalms were redacted into a single collection in second-temple times. It was widely recognized that the collection bore the imprint of an underlying message or ‘meta-narrative’, but that this message remained concealed. As St Augustine said, ‘The sequence of the Psalms seems to me to contain the secret of a mighty mystery, but its meaning has not been revealed to me.’ (Enarr. on Ps. 150.1)

Normally I wouldn’t quote somebody whose name is not found in scripture but Augustine was correct with the above quote which after intensive study of the scriptures the Bible will reveal.

In the common form of acrostic found in Old Testament Poetry, each line or stanza begins with a letter of the Hebrew alphabet in order. This literary form may have been intended as an aid to memory, but more likely it was a poetic way of saying that a total coverage of the subject was being offered -- as we would say, 'from A to Z.' Acrostics occur in Psalms 111 and 112, where each letter begins a line; in Psalms 25, 34, and 145, where each letter begins a half-verse; in Psalm 37, Proverbs 31:10-31, and Lamentations 1, 2, and 4, where each letter begins a whole verse; and in Lamentations 3, where each letter begins three verses. Psalm 119 is the most elaborate demonstration of the acrostic method where, in each section of eight verses, the same opening letter is used, and the twenty-two sections of the psalm move through the Hebrew alphabet, letter after letter. --J.A. Motyer, "Acrostic," in The New International Dictionary of the Bible (Grand Rapids: Zondervan, 1987), p. 12.

ALPHABETIC PSALMS:
·       Psalms 9 & 10: 39 verses: These two Psalms were composed together. The first runs from Aleph to Kaph, the second from Lamed to Tav. It follows a skip pattern with a KeyWord in every other verse. There are a few variations from the expected pattern, such as the missing Dalet and Quph verses.
·       Psalm 25: 22 verses. The KJV versification gets out of line with the Alphabet at verse 5, which includes the Hey and Vav verses in one. Tav therefore appears in verse 21. Also, there are two consecutive verses corresponding to Resh, one of which fills the space usually occupied by Quph. This Psalm ends in verse 22 with an appended verse beginning with the Pey KeyWord hdeP] (p'dey, redeem) which is used in one of the Pey verses of Psalm 119. It also is appended to Psalm 34.
·       Psalm 34: 22 verses. This Psalm follows the standard order with the exception that the verse corresponding to Vav is missing, so correlation between the verse numbers and the letters is off by one after verse 5. For example, the Tav verse is AV Ps 34:21 rather than the expected 22. This Psalm ends in verse 22 with an appended Pey KeyWord hdeP] (p'dey, redeem) which is also appended to Psalm 25.
·       Psalm 37: 40 verses. Most of this Psalm follows a skip pattern with every other verse corresponding to a Hebrew Letter. The first verse starts with Aleph, the third with Bet, the fifth with Gimel and the seventh with Dalet. If this pattern were followed throughout, there would be 44 (= 2 x 22) verses. But the pattern breaks down in a few places where there is no verse separating the sequential Letters. This first happens with Hey appearing in verse 8 immediately after Dalet in verse 7. But then the original plan begins again, with Vav in verse 10, Zayin in verse 12, Chet in verse 14, and so forth until we come to Kaph in verse 20. These variations are easy to follow and the corresponding KeyWords are clearly discerned.
·       Psalm 111: 10 verses. The whole Alphabet is represented in standard order from Aleph to Tav. The first 8 verses each have two clauses beginning with consecutive Letters and the last 2 verses have three clauses, so the 10 (= 8 + 2) verses represent all 22 (= 8 x 2 + 2 x 3) letters. The clauses will be indicated by letters such as AV Ps 111:1a for the Aleph clause and AV Ps 111:10c for the Tav clause.
·       Psalm 112: 10 verses. The whole alphabet is represented in standard order from Aleph to Tav. Each verse divided into two or three clauses in exactly the same way as Psalm 111.
·       Psalm 119: 176 verses. This is the greatest alphabetically structured chapter in the Bible. It is also the longest. It consists of 22 sections, each containing 8 consecutive verses that begin with the same Hebrew letter, for a total of 176 (= 8 x 22) verses. The first eight begin with Aleph, the next eight with Bet, the next eight with Gimel, until the alphabet is exhausted. There are no variations from the standard order. Its alphabetic structure is transparent in many Bibles, such as the New International and King James Versions, which present the name of the letter at the beginning of each section of 8 verses.
·       Psalm 145: 21 verses. This follows the standard order from Aleph to Tav, with the exception that the Nun verse is missing in some manuscripts. This is why it has 21 rather than the expected 22 verses.

It is interesting that the letter nun is missing because it is the first letter in the word nachash which is the serpent in the garden of Eden.

Strong's Number: 5175  Transliterated: nachash  Phonetic: naw-khawsh'
Text:  from 5172; a snake (from its hiss): -- serpent.

The mystery of the book of Psalm which is actually 5 books in its original form with most having titles given and is only revealed by some versions of the Bible such as an Interlinear, Literal, New American standard, Youngs, Darbys, Websters and others. The numbers and verses of the psalms were added at a later date and cannot be used in any type of mathematical or prophetical prophecies. None the less, we are blessed to have them for research purposes. The psalms are prophetically chronological portraying the literal body of Christ and then the Church because we must drink of the same cup that he drank from. The Psalms begin with the birth of Jesus and end with the solemn assembly of all the saints throughout history gathered together to enter into the millennium as priests and kings with Jesus while rejoicing in their victory over evil.

Psalm 34 ends with the redemption of the barley and wheat of Revelation 6:6 in alphabetical order in Hebrew just preceding the time of great tribulation. Psalms 34-44 are ten signifying the 10 days of tribulation for the church of Smyrna?

The Hebrew alphabet’s twenty-two letters in Psalm 119, 15 degrees in Psalms 120-134, and 8 last Psalms of David in Psalms 138-145 all totaling 45 used in the latter or fifth book of Psalm also indicate a procession of time and represents the first judgment of the just and is the extra 45 days spoken of by the prophet Daniel for those who are blessed. The psalms are undoubtedly chronological in order, beginning with the birth of Jesus and ending with all the brethren united with the Lord.

Before you read any further I want you to know that this study is not perfect or complete as their will be some minor errors which the Holy Spirit will reveal to me if time permits. The time of the Day of the Lord is near at hand and I do not know how many days I have here on earth in the land of the living nor am I sure of which house I belong to so I will post new revisions when deemed necessary. I encourage all readers to further investigate and research these end times prophecies which are soon to take place. Do not count my comments as the Word of God; they are only there to guide you to put precept upon precept, line upon line, here a little, there a little until eventually when Jesus returns all the pieces of the puzzle will fit perfectly together. Acts chapter 27 is also a chronological prophetical guide to the time of great tribulation which I am currently in the process of researching. All the books of the prophets will be extremely helpful in your studies. Watch and guard the Word because your redemption draws near.

BOOK I (Psalms 1-41)

Psalm 1:3 describes the coming Holy One, Jesus: He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bring forth his fruit in his season.

Psalm 2 is of course depicting the birth of our King, in verse 7: Thou art my son; this day have I begotten thee.

John 1:14.  And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

John 3:16.  "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Acts 13:33.  "God has fulfilled this for us their children, in that He has raised up Jesus. As it is also written in the second Psalm: `You are My Son, today I have begotten You.'  34.  "And that He raised Him from the dead, no more to return to corruption, He has spoken thus: `I will give you the sure mercies of David.'

Psalm 8:4.  What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him? 5.  For You have made him a little lower than the angels, And You have crowned him with glory and honor. 6.  You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet, 7.  All sheep and oxen Even the beasts of the field, 8.  The birds of the air, And the fish of the sea That pass through the paths of the seas.  9. O Lord, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth!

Psalm 9:4-6 have been interpreted in the past tense but I believe it is improper as we look at the Hebrew words used.

Surely maintain my right cause sitting on your throne judging righteously. Rebuke the heathen destroy the wicked. Blot out their name foreverlasting. Make the enemy perpetually ended. destroy their cities. Let their  memory perish with them.

Psalm 16:10 For You will not leave my soul in Sheol, Nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption.

This speaks of Christ going down to Sheol which is an area split in two, divided by a gulf for the dead as they await to go to their final destination point. Jesus went down to  Abrahams bosom or Paradise which is the good side and finishes by stating that he shall not see the pit of destruction possibly meaning Hades, an area preserved for evil spirits.

Luke 16:22.  "So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham's bosom. The rich man also died and was buried.  23.  "And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

Luke 16:26.  `And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that those who want to pass from here to you cannot, nor can those from there pass to us.'

Psalm 18 illustrates a picture of Jesus on the cross and the actions of the Almighty Father upon the face of the earth. Verses 16-29 speak of the upright or perfect saints of the old marriage covenant, who were on the righteous side of Sheol and of whom are among the twenty-four elders written about in the book of Revelation.

Psalm 18:7.  Then the earth shook and quaked; And the foundations of the mountains were trembling And were shaken, because He was angry.

The Bible scriptures define many waters as many different nations and peoples.

Numbers 24:5.  "How lovely are your tents, O Jacob! your dwellings, O Israel!  6.  Like valleys that stretch out, like gardens by the riverside, like aloes planted by the Lord, like cedars beside the waters.  7.  He shall pour water from his buckets, and his seed shall be in many waters. "His king shall be higher than Agag, and his kingdom shall be exalted.

Revelation 17:15.  And he said to me, "The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues.

Psalm 18:16 He sent from above, he took me, he drew me out of many waters. 19 He brought me forth also into a large place:  he delivered me, because he delighted in me. 20.  The LORD has rewarded me according to my righteousness; According to the cleanness of my hands He has recompensed me. 21.  For I have kept the ways of the LORD, And have not wickedly departed from my God. 22.  For all His ordinances were before me, And I did not put away His statutes from me. 23.  I was also blameless with Him, And I kept myself from my iniquity.

Revelation 5:8.  Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.  9.  And they sang a new song, saying: "You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals; for You were slain, and have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,  10.  and have made us kings and priests to our God; and we shall reign on the earth.''

Isaiah 26: 19 Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.

These are the same saints seen walking around Jerusalem after Jesus resurrection which Jesus clearly prophesied of this occasion and others in the future in the book of Matthew.

Matthew 27:51.  And behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split,  52.  The tombs were opened, and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; 53.  and coming out of the tombs after His resurrection they entered the holy city and appeared to many.

This next verse speaks of the Jewish religious leaders and all serpent seed peoples from all races and nations.

Psalm 21:10.  Their fruit wilt thou destroy from the earth, And their seed from among the children of men.  11.  For they intended evil against thee; They conceived a device which they are not able to perform.

The righteous seed of God will witness about Jesus to those born in the future.

Psalm 22:30.  A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.  31.  They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done it.

The next verse depicts Jesus on the crucifixion cross crying out to our Father in the Hebrew language which was not spoken at that time.

Psalms 22:1.  (22:1 in Heb.)  Lamnatseeach. `Al- 'Ayeletha-Shachar. Mizmowr l-Daawid: (22:2 in Heb.) 'Eliy, 'Eliy,laamaah `azabtaaniy? Raachowq miyshuw`aatiy, dibreey sha'agaatiy?

Matthew 27:46.  And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, "Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?'' that is, "My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?''

Psalm 22:18. They divide My garments among them, And for My clothing they cast lots.

Matthew 27:35.  Then they crucified Him, and divided His garments, casting lots, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet:

Psalm 30 is the ingathering of the 12 disciples who are among the 24 elders sitting on thrones.

Psalm 30:3 I cried unto thee and you have healed me. Oh Lord thou hast brought up my soul from Sheol; you have kept me alive that I should not go down to the pit. 4. Sing unto the Lord, o ye saints and give thanks to His holy name.

Psalm 30:12.  That my soul may sing praise to You and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks to You forever.

The following verse indicates the different structural members of the Holy temple which is the body of Christ are being fit together over time until it’s completion. The foundation is the first building structure laid and is made up of the apostles and prophets which are the 24 Elders.

Ephesians 2:19.  Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, 20.  having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, 21.  in whom the whole building, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, 22.  in whom you also are being built together for a habitation of God in the Spirit.

This next verse may possibly indicate the protestant revival which brought many to the Lord Jesus.

Psalm 32:3.  When I kept silent {about my sin,} my body wasted away Through my groaning all day long.4.  For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me; My vitality was drained away {as} with the fever heat of summer. Selah. 5.  I acknowledged my sin to You, And my iniquity I did not hide; I said, "I will confess my transgressions to the LORD"; And You forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah.6. Therefore let everyone who is godly pray to You in a time when You may be found; Surely in a flood of great waters they will not reach him.

A flood of great waters is many peoples who are the servants of Mystery Babylon and are doing the work of the dragon to persecute, torture, and murder God’s elect.

Psalm 33: 2. Praise the Lord with the harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of 10 strings. 3.  Sing to Him a new song; Play skillfully with a shout of joy.

This is now the time that the elders learn of the only person worthy to open the book with seven seals.

Revelation  5:8.  And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odors, which are the prayers of saints.  9.  And they sang a new song, saying: "You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals; for You were slain, and have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,  10.  and have made us kings and priests to our God; and we shall reign on the earth.''

Psalm 33:12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord: and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.

Psalm 34:19.  Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all.

Psalm 34:20 is not only a fulfilled prophecy of Jesus the Messiah, but also of the body of Christ, the Holy Church whom all of us being many of different peoples are one body in him who redeems us from this corruptible earth. He keeps all his body: not one of them is broken.

Psalm 34:22.  The Lord redeems the soul of His servants, And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned.

Revelation 6:6.  And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, "A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine.''

The bodies of the children of Abraham and Israel are redeemed and the time of great tribulation begins for the children of Abraham for 10 Psalms or 10 days, however long that is. The oil and the wine being the 144000 virgins and Jerusalem survive after being severely tested and refined.

Psalm 35:10 All my body shall say, Lord who is like unto thee, which delivers the poor from him that is too strong for him, yea, the poor and needy from him that spoils him?

Psalm 35 is I believe to be the beginning of birth pangs and sorrows and the 7 seals of Revelation have now commenced to be opened. For many individuals this is a secret persecution at the hands of the serpent seed Luciferians who rule the earth encompassing fourth kingdom of Daniel with Mystery Babylon being it’s leader as they harass, torture, and murder by means of what is known on the internet as gang stalking or mobbing. The Holy Bible scriptures describe this phenomenon as a flood of many waters sent out by the serpent/dragon. This fourth kingdom of Daniel is not yet complete as it still awaits the coming of their god the antichrist who will proclaim himself to be God.

Revelation 12:15.  So the serpent spewed water out of his mouth like a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away by the flood.  16.  But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the flood which the dragon had spewed out of his mouth.  17.  And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Psalms 35:1.  Plead my cause, O Lord, with those who strive with me; Fight against those who fight against me.  2.  Take hold of shield and buckler, And stand up for my help.  3.  Also draw out the spear, And stop those who pursue me. Say to my soul, "I am your salvation.''4.  Let those be put to shame and brought to dishonor Who seek after my life; Let those be turned back and brought to confusion Who plot my hurt.  5.  Let them be like chaff before the wind, And let the angel of the Lord chase them.  6.  Let their way be dark and slippery, And let the angel of the Lord pursue them. 7 For without cause have they hid for me their net, a pit, without cause they have digged for my soul. 8.  Let destruction come upon him unexpectedly, And let his net that he has hidden catch himself; Into that very destruction let him fall.

Psalm 35:15.  But in my adversity they rejoiced And gathered together; Attackers gathered against me, And I did not know it; They tore at me and did not cease;

Psalm 35:20.  For they do not speak peace, But they devise deceitful matters Against those who are quiet in the land.

Psalm 36 is a foreshadow and forewarning of the final 8th beast who shall be resurrected in the land of Israel. Verse 2: For he flatters himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful 3.  The words of his mouth are wickedness and deceit; He has ceased to be wise and to do good.  4.  He devises wickedness on his bed; He sets himself in a way that is not good; He does not abhor evil.

Psalm 37:14 parallels Revelation 6:4-6: The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, to slay such as be of upright conversation.

Psalm 37:16.  A little that a righteous man has is better than the riches of many wicked. This chapter goes on to describe judgment of the upright, perfect in heart, and of the wicked. This parallels Revelation 6:5, the black horse and its ‘rider comes to weigh souls in the balance and God redeems the bodies of the righteous; the virgins are the wine, barley the sons of Abraham, wheat is Israel, the oil is the righteous remnant of Jerusalem.

Revelation 6:5.  When He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, "Come and see.'' And I looked, and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand.  6.  And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, "A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine.''

Psalm 37:18.  The Lord knows the days of the upright, And their inheritance shall be forever.  19.  They shall not be ashamed in the evil time, And in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.  20.  But the wicked shall perish; And the enemies of the Lord, Like the splendor of the meadows, shall vanish. Into smoke they shall vanish away.

Psalm 37:22.  For those who are blessed by Him shall inherit the earth, But those who are cursed by Him shall be cut off.  23. The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way.  24.  Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For the Lord upholds him with His hand.

Psalm 37:32.  The wicked watches the righteous, And seeks to slay him.  33.  The Lord will not leave him in his hand, Nor condemn him when he is judged.

Psalm 37:37 Mark the perfect and behold the upright for the end of that man is peace. This speaks of the 144000 virgins sealed on their foreheads in the true faith in Jesus and is another clue to Bible readers to read 1 Kings 8 to understand that Solomon died with a heart which was not perfect or upright before the Lord, a death sentence for eternal life.

Psalm 39:4.  "Lord, make me to know my end, And what is the measure of my days, That I may know how frail I am.

Revelation 7:2.  Then I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God. And he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea,  3.  saying, "Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.'' 4.  And I heard the number of those who were sealed. One hundred and forty-four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed:

In the next Bible verses we see the return of the ministry of John the Apostle who was to tarry or wait until the Lord Jesus returns and was declared to him that he would prophesy to many peoples and nations with the book he had eaten in the book of Revelation. I believe he is one of the two witnesses who shall prophesy for 1260 days.

Psalms 40:1.  I waited patiently for the Lord; And He inclined to me, And heard my cry. 2.  He brought me up out of a rushing pit, Out of the miry clay, And set my feet upon a rock, And established my steps.  3.  He has put a new song in my mouth Praise to our God; Many will see it and fear, And will trust in the Lord.

Psalm 27:4.  One thing I have desired of the Lord, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord, And to inquire in His temple.5.  For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock.  6.  And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me; Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord.7.  Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice! Have mercy also upon me, and answer me.  8.  When You said, "Seek My face,'' My heart said to You, "Your face, Lord, I will seek.''  9.  Do not hide Your face from me; Do not turn Your servant away in anger; You have been my help; Do not leave me nor forsake me, O God of my salvation.

Psalm 27:13.  I would have lost heart, unless I had believed That I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living.14.  Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!

John 21:20.  Then Peter, turning around, saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following, who also had leaned on His breast at the supper, and said, "Lord, who is the one who betrays You?''  21.  Peter, seeing him, said to Jesus, "But Lord, what about this man?''  22.  Jesus said to him, "If I will that he remain till I come, what is that to you? You follow Me.''  23.  Then this saying went out among the brethren that this disciple would not die. Yet Jesus did not say to him that he would not die, but, "If I will that he remain till I come, what is that to you?''  24.  This is the disciple who testifies of these things, and wrote these things; and we know that his testimony is true.

Psalms 28:1.  To You I will cry, O Lord my Rock: Do not be silent to me, Lest, if You are silent to me, I become like those who go down to the pit.  2.  Hear the voice of my supplications When I cry to You, When I lift up my hands toward Your holy sanctuary.

Psalms 40: 7.  Therefore say "Behold, come; In the scroll of the Book it is written upon.  8.  delight to do Your will, God, And Your law is within my stomach.

Strong's Ref. # 4578  Romanized  me`ah  Pronounced may-aw'
from an unused root probably meaning to be soft; used only in plural the intestines, or (collectively) the abdomen, figuratively, sympathy; by implication, a vest; by extension, the stomach, the uterus (or of men, the seat of generation), the heart (figuratively): KJV--belly, bowels, X heart, womb.

Psalms 40: 9.  I have proclaimed the good news of righteousness In the great congregation; Indeed, I do not restrain my lips, O Lord, You Yourself know.  10.  I have not hidden Your righteousness within my heart; I have declared Your faithfulness and Your salvation; I have not concealed Your lovingkindness and Your truth From the great congregation.

Revelation 10:1.  And I saw still another mighty angel coming down from heaven, clothed with a cloud. And a rainbow was on his head, his face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire.  2.  And he had a little book open in his hand. And he set his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land,  3.  and cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roars. And when he cried out, seven thunders uttered their voices.  4.  Now when the seven thunders uttered their voices, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, "Seal up the things which the seven thunders uttered, and do not write them.''5.  And the angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land lifted up his hand to heaven  6.  and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and the things that are in it, the earth and the things that are in it, and the sea and the things that are in it, that there should be delay no longer,  7.  but in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets.  8.  Then the voice which I heard from heaven spoke to me again and said, "Go, take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel who stands on the sea and on the earth.''  9.  And I went to the angel and said to him, "Give me the little book.'' And he said to me, "Take and eat it; and it will make your stomach bitter, but it will be as sweet as honey in your mouth.''  10.  And I took the little book out of the angel's hand and ate it, and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth. But when I had eaten it, my stomach became bitter.  11.  And he said to me, "You must prophesy again before many peoples, nations, tongues, and kings.''

Mark 3:14.  Then He appointed twelve, that they might be with Him and that He might send them out to preach,  15.  and to have power to heal sicknesses and to cast out demons:  16.  Simon, to whom He gave the name Peter; 17.  James the son of Zebedee and John the brother of James, to whom He gave the name Boanerges, that is, "Sons of Thunder'';

Boanerges   bo-an-erg-es'  Of Chald origin ([H1123] and [H7266]); sons of commotion; Boanerges, an epithet of two of the Apostles: - Boanerges.

Strong's Number: 7266 Transliterated: rgaz  Phonetic: reg-az'
Text:  (Aramaic) from 7265; violent anger: --rage.

Strong's Number: 7267  Transliterated: rogez  Phonetic: ro'-ghez
Text:  from 7264; commotion, restlessness (of a horse), crash (of thunder), disquiet, anger: --fear, noise, rage, trouble(-ing), wrath.

Strong's Number: 7264 Transliterated: ragaz Phonetic: raw-gaz'
Text:  a primitive root; to quiver (with any violent emotion, especially anger or fear): --be afraid, stand in awe, disquiet, fall out, fret, move, provoke, quake, rage, shake, tremble, trouble, be wroth.

Revelation 11:13.  In the same hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell. In the earthquake seven thousand men were killed, and the rest were afraid and gave glory to the God of heaven.  14.  The second woe is past. Behold, the third woe is coming quickly.  15.  Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!''

Revelation 11:3.  "And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.''  4.  These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands standing before the God of the earth. 5.  And if anyone wants to harm them, fire proceeds from their mouth and devours their enemies. And if anyone wants to harm them, he must be killed in this manner. 6.  These have power to shut heaven, so that no rain falls in the days of their prophecy; and they have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to strike the earth with all plagues, as often as they desire.

Psalms 27:1.  The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? 2. When the wicked came against me to devour my flesh, My enemies and foes, They stumbled and fell.

John  The "beloved disciple," was brother to James the Great. The churches of Smyrna, Pergamos, Sardis, Philadelphia, Laodicea, and Thyatira, were founded by him. From Ephesus he was ordered to be sent to Rome, where it is affirmed he was cast into a cauldron of boiling oil. He escaped by miracle, without injury. Domitian afterwards banished him to the Isle of Patmos, where he wrote the Book of Revelation. Nerva, the successor of Domitian, recalled him. He was the only apostle who escaped a violent death.

Psalms 41-44 illustrates the sons of Abraham from many nations that are suffering persecution and death at the hands of the wicked and are crying out to God to have mercy upon them and to judge the evil doers.

Psalm 41:5.  My enemies speak evil of me: "When will he die, and his name perish?''  6.  And if he comes to see me, he speaks vain words; His heart gathers iniquity to itself; When he goes out, he tells it.7.  All who hate me whisper together against me; Against me they devise my hurt.  8.  "An evil disease,'' they say, "clings to him. And now that he lies down, he will rise up no more.''

Psalm 41:9 is not only prophetical of Judas Iscariot, but of the coming arrival of the one who brings in the great apostasy, the one carrying the money bag, as all nations shall be gathered against her. (Apostate Jerusalem which is Mystery Babylon.)

Psalm 41:9.  Even my own familiar friend in whom I trusted, Who ate my bread, Has lifted up his heel against me.

Many Christians have and are sitting side by side with Mystery Babylonians in church on Sunday; some of them are members of their own family. Many are tares or serpent seed while the good seed of Jesus is in the minority.

BOOK II (Psalms 42-72)

Psalm 44:22.  Yet for Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.  23.  Awake! Why do You sleep, O Lord? Arise! Do not cast us off forever.  24.  Why do You hide Your face, And forget our affliction and our oppression? 25.  For our soul is bowed down to the dust; Our body clings to the ground.  26.  Arise for our help, And redeem us for Your mercies' sake.

Psalm 44 illustrates the souls under the altar of Rev. 6:10 who are opposed by the one who blasphemes and kills them for their faith in Jesus. The wrath of the Lamb shall not begin until the last Christian of this large group of the sons of Abraham is killed for his faith and witness of Jesus and his Word.

Revelation 6:10.  And they cried with a loud voice, saying, "How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth? 11.  And a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.

After this, the Day of the Lord shall begin with the opening of the 6th seal which is parallel with Psalm 45. I need to make it clear that although many of the sons of Abraham, commonly referred to as the church, but are only part of the body shall be killed for their faith during the first three and a half years of tribulation (affliction) which ends at the opening of the sixth seal. They shall not be subjected to God’s wrath or be present when the three evil spirits (Abaddon, Lucifer, and Wormwood) are set completely free for a season. The ingathering of the barley is redeemed from the earth as the Lord collects all the sons of Abraham , those who are asleep in the dust and possibly some alive but doubtful as the pretribulation rapture doctrine is falsely propagated by evil men in high places and they are represented in Psalm 45 as the Kings’daughter. God describes much of the body and parts of the church as female, which must be studied in the Old Testament prophecies.

Psalm 45:10 Hearken, O daughter and consider, and incline thine ear, forget also thine own people, and thy father’s house.

This shows the reader that this people had a different father and must be grafted into the body of Christ.

45:14 the virgins (144,000), her companions that follow her shall be brought unto thee; A clear indication of the wedding procession of the bride.

Psalm 46 is a song that describes the catastrophic events taking place on the earth and the heavenly realm being shaken up as paralleled in the opening of the 6th seal in Revelation and complete fulfillment of the prophesy of Joel 2:31 when the moon is turned into blood.

Psalms 46:1.  God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.  2.  Therefore we will not fear, Though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 3.  Though its waters roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah

Revelation 6:12.  I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood.  13.  And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind.  14.  Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place.  15.  And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains,  16.  and said to the mountains and rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!  17.  "For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?''

Psalm 47:5-6 God is gone up with a shout, the Lord with the sound of a trumpet. Sing praise to God, sing praises, sing praises unto our King, sing praises. These verses parallel The dead of the sons of Abraham are gathered up as described in Revelation 7:9-17.

Psalm 47: 8.  God reigns over the nations; God sits on His holy throne.  9.  The princes of the people have gathered together, The people of the God of Abraham. For the shields of the earth belong to God; He is greatly exalted.

It was promised to Abraham, by God, that he would be a father over many nations; as sand of the sea.

Revelation 7:9. After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, 10.  and crying out with a loud voice, saying, "Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!''  11.  And all the angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four living creatures, and fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God,  12.  saying: "Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom, thanksgiving and honor and power and might, be to our God forever and ever. Amen.''  13.  Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, "Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?''  14.  And I said to him, "Sir, you know.'' So he said to me, "These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.  15.  "Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them.  16.  "They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat;  17.  "for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.''

Psalm 48:6 Fear took hold upon them there, and pain as of a woman in travail.

Isaiah 13:6.  Howl ye; for the day of the Lord is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty. 7.  Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt: 8.  And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travails: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames. 9.  Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. 10.  For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.

The prophet Jeremiah, and our Lord Jesus spoke of these times which are known as the great tribulation and the day of the Lord were also explained in:

1Thess. 5:3 for when they shall say peace and safety; then sudden destruction comes upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

So much of the Bible describes this point in time which is to come upon all the earth; be forewarned.

Psalm 49 warns us to not trust in, or lust after material riches of this earth; a major problem not only in the world, but an epidemic in the Laodicean and other apostate churches of these end times who shall enter into the time of great tribulation.

Psalm 49:6.  Those who trust in their wealth And boast in the multitude of their riches, 7.  None of them can by any means redeem his brother, Nor give to God a ransom for him  8.  For the redemption of their souls is costly, And it shall cease forever   9.  That he should continue to live eternally, And not see the Pit.  10.  For he sees that wise men die; Likewise the fool and the senseless person perish, And leave their wealth to others.

The next group of believers who shall be refined in great tribulation is the church of Laodicea which is also of the tribe of Ephraim the son of Joseph who is separate from Israel distinguished by the coat of many colors worn by the patriarch.

Revelation 3:17.  "Because you say, `I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing' and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked   18.  "I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.  19.  "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.

Hosea 12:7.  He is a merchant, the balances of deceit are in his hand: he loveth to oppress. 8.  And Ephraim said, Yet I am become rich, I have found me out substance: in all my labours they shall find none iniquity in me that were sin.

Sacrificial offerings reinstituted by apostate Israel and their persecution of Joseph from the Christian church.

Psalm 50:7.  "Hear, O My people, and I will speak, O Israel, and I will testify against you; I am God, your God!  8.  I will not reprove you for your sacrifices Or your burnt offerings, Which are continually before Me.  9.  I will not take a bull from your house, Nor goats out of your folds.  10.  For every beast of the forest is Mine, And the cattle on a thousand hills.  11.  I know all the birds of the mountains, And the wild beasts of the field are Mine.  12.  "If I were hungry, I would not tell you; For the world is Mine, and all its fullness.  13.  Will I eat the flesh of bulls, Or drink the blood of goats? 14.  Offer to God thanksgiving, And pay your vows to the Most High.  15.  Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.''  16.  But to the wicked God says: "What right have you to declare My statutes, Or take My covenant in your mouth,  17.  Seeing you hate instruction And cast My words behind you?  18.  When you saw a thief, you consented with him, And have been a partaker with adulterers.  19.  You give your mouth to evil, And your tongue frames deceit. 20.  You sit and speak against your brother; You slander your own mother's son.  21.  These things you have done, and I kept silent; You thought that I was altogether like you; But I will reprove you, And set them in order before your eyes.

Amos 6:1.  Woe to you who are at ease in Zion, and trust in Mount Samaria, notable persons in the chief nation, to whom the house of Israel comes!

Amos 6:3.  Woe to you who put far off the day of doom, who cause the seat of violence to come near;  4.  who lie on beds of ivory, stretch out on your couches, eat lambs from the flock and calves from the midst of the stall; 5.  who chant to the sound of stringed instruments, and invent for yourselves musical instruments like David;  6.  who drink wine from bowls, and anoint yourselves with the best ointments, but are not grieved for the affliction of Joseph.

Psalm 51:17.  The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart These, O God, You will not despise.  18.  Do good in Your good pleasure to Zion; Build the walls of Jerusalem.

Psalm 52 again speaks of the man empowered by Lucifer, the beast of Revelation.

Psalms 52:1.  Why do you boast in evil, O mighty man? The goodness of God endures continually.  2.  Your  tongue devises destruction, Like a sharp razor, working deceitfully.  3.  You love evil more than good, And lying rather than speaking righteousness. Selah  4.  You love all devouring words, You deceitful tongue.  5.  God shall likewise destroy you forever; He shall take you away, and pluck you out of your dwelling place, And uproot you from the land of the living. Selah  6.  The righteous also shall see and fear, And shall laugh at him, saying,  7.  "Here is the man who did not make God his strength, But trusted in the abundance of his riches, And strengthened himself in his wickedness.''

This man is among the congregation of believers as described in:

Psalm 55-12-14 For it was not an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it: neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me: then I would have hid myself from him: but it was thou, a man mine equal, my guide and mine acquaintance. We took sweet counsel together, and walked unto the house of God in company.

The 144,000 virgins are to be protected from the four winds of (Revelation 7:1) in Psalm 55:6 -55:8 And I said, oh that I had wings like a dove! For then would I fly away, and be at rest. Lo, then would I wander far off, and remain in the wilderness. Selah.  I would hasten my escape from the windy storm and tempest.

Revelation 7:1.  After these things I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, on the sea, or on any tree.  2. One hundred and forty-four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed: 5.  of the tribe of Judah twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Reuben twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Gad twelve thousand were sealed;  6.  of the tribe of Asher twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Naphtali twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Manasseh twelve thousand were sealed;  7.  of the tribe of Simeon twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Levi twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Issachar twelve thousand were sealed;  8.  of the tribe of Zebulun twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Joseph twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Benjamin twelve thousand were sealed.

These are the woman who is clothed with 12 stars and the beast seeks to destroy with a flood but are protected for the last 3.5 years in a safe place.

Revelation 12:6.  Then the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days.

Revelation 12:14.  But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent. 15.  So the serpent spewed water out of his mouth like a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away by the flood. 16.  But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the flood which the dragon had spewed out of his mouth.

Psalm 55:20-21 He hath put forth his hands against such as be at peace with him: he hath broken his covenant. The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart: his words were softer than oil, yet were they drawn swords. The beast breaks his covenant with those who are at peace with him, signaling the midpoint of the 70th week of Daniel.

Daniel 9:27.  Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; but in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. and on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, even until the consummation, which is determined, is poured out on the desolate.''

Psalm 57:1. Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me! For my soul trusts in You; And in the shadow of Your wings I will make my refuge, Until these calamities have passed by.  2.  I will cry out to God Most High, To God who performs all things for me.  3.  He shall send from heaven and save me; He reproaches the one who would swallow me up. Selah God shall send forth His mercy and His truth.4. My soul is among lions: and I lie even among them that are set on fire, even the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, and their tongue a sharp sword.

The elect of God are now subjected to the powerful demonic armies which are released from the bottomless pit with Appollyon. (Abaddon)

Revelation 9:3.  Then out of the smoke locusts came upon the earth. And to them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.  4.  They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads.  5.  And they were not given authority to kill them, but to torment them for five months. And their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it strikes a man.  6.  In those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will desire to die, and death will flee from them.  7.  And the shape of the locusts was like horses prepared for battle; and on their heads were crowns of something like gold, and their faces were like the faces of men.  8.  They had hair like women's hair, and their teeth were like lions' teeth.  9.  And they had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots with many horses running into battle.  10.  They had tails like scorpions, and there were stings in their tails. And their power was to hurt men five months.  11.  And they had as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, but in Greek he has the name Apollyon.

Revelation 9:15.  So the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released to kill a third of mankind.  16.  Now the number of the army of the horsemen was two hundred million, and I heard the number of them.  17.  And thus I saw the horses in the vision: those who sat on them had breastplates of fiery red, hyacinth blue, and sulfur yellow; and the heads of the horses were like the heads of lions; and out of their mouths came fire, smoke, and brimstone.  18.  By these three plagues a third of mankind was killed by the fire and the smoke and the brimstone which came out of their mouths.  19.  For their power is in their mouth and in their tails; for their tails are like serpents, having heads; and with them they do harm.

Psalm 58:9.  Before your pots can feel the burning thorns, He shall take them away as with a whirlwind, As in His living and burning wrath.

Psalm 58:9 is both an assurance and a warning of the coming ingathering of the 144000 virgins of Israel to the Lord and winepress of God’s wrath upon those who refuse his love when the earth is reaped in Revelation 14:14-20.

The 144,000 have already been marked and promised deliverance in Psalm 60:4-5 Thou hast given a banner (mark) to them that fear thee, that it may be displayed because of the truth. Selah. That thy beloved may be delivered; save with thy right hand, and hear me.

Psalm 63: 4.  Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name. 5.  My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips: 6.  When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches. 7.  Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.

The 144,000 virgins are gathered alive and redeemed from the earth in Psalm 65:13 as they sing, rejoice, and praise God throughout the next 3 chapters. At each ingathering there is singing, praising, worshiping, shouting and rejoicing.

Psalm 65:13.  The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing.

Psalm 66:1 Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands: sing forth the honor of his name: make his praise glorious.

Revelation 14:2.  And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps: 3.  And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.

Psalm 66:8.  Oh, bless our God, you peoples! And make the voice of His praise to be heard, 9.  Who keeps our soul among the living, And does not allow our feet to be moved. 10.  For You, O God, have proved us; You have refined us as silver is refined. 11.  You brought us into the net; You laid affliction on our backs. 12.  You have caused men to ride over our heads; We went through fire and through water; But You brought us out to rich fulfillment.

The 144,000 shall suffer affliction and persecution at the hands of the wicked during the first 3.5 years of the 70th week of Daniel but will not die or suffer from the plagues of God’s wrath.

Psalm 68:11.  The Lord gave the word; Great was the company of those who proclaimed it:  12.  "Kings of armies flee, they flee, And she who remains at home divides the spoil.  13.  Though you lie down among the sheepfolds, Yet you will be like the wings of a dove covered with silver, And her feathers with yellow gold.''  14.  When the Almighty scattered kings in it, It was white as snow in Zalmon.

The wedding procession of the bride.

Psalm 68:25.  The singers (elders) went before, the players on instruments (mixed multitude of Abraham) followed after; among them were the virgins playing with timbrels.

Psalm 68:27 There is little Benjamin with their ruler, the princes of Judah and their council, the princes of Zebulun, and the princes of Naphtali. This scripture illustrates several of the princes of the tribes of the 144,000.

Psalm 69:5.  O God, You know my foolishness; And my sins are not hidden from You.

Hosea 13:12.  The iniquity of Ephraim is bound up; his sin is hid. 13.  The sorrows of a travailing woman shall come upon him: he is an unwise son; for he should not stay long in the place of the breaking forth of children. 14.  I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death: O death, I will be thy plagues; O grave, I will be thy destruction: repentance shall be hid from mine eyes.

Psalm 69:8.  I have become a stranger to my brothers, And an alien to my mother's children;

Genesis 49:26.  The blessings of thy father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors to the utmost bound of the everlasting hills; they shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was separate from his brethren.

Genesis 48:8.  Then Israel saw Joseph's sons, and said, "Who are these?''

Psalm 69:1.  Save me, O God! For the waters have come up to my neck. 2.  I sink in deep mire, Where there is no standing; I have come into deep waters, Where the floods overflow me.

Isaiah 57:20.  But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt.

Isaiah 28:1.  Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty is a fading flower which is at the head of the verdant valleys, to those who are overcome with wine!  2.  Behold, the Lord has a mighty and strong one, like a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, like a flood of mighty waters overflowing, who will bring them down to the earth with His hand.  3.  The crown of pride, the drunkards of Ephraim, will be trampled under foot;  4.  and the glorious beauty is a fading flower which is at the head of the verdant valley, like the first fruit before the summer, which an observer sees; he eats it up while it is still in his hand.

Psalm 69:14.  Deliver me out of the mire, And let me not sink; Let me be delivered from those who hate me, And out of the deep waters. 15.  Let not the floodwater overflow me, Nor let the deep swallow me up; And let not the pit shut its mouth on me.

Isaiah 59:19.  So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun; when the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him. 20.  "The Redeemer will come to Zion, and to those who turn from transgression in Jacob,'' says the Lord.

Psalm 69:28.  Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, And not be written with the righteous.

Psalm 71:20.  You, who have shown me great and severe troubles, Shall revive me again, And bring me up again from the depths of the earth. 23.  My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing to You, And my soul, which You have redeemed.

Psalm 72 describes our Lord Jesus Christ but is written to Solomon and should not be confused with Solomon’s earthly reign; for only God has the power to save and redeem souls as written in verses 13 and 14.

Psalm 72
Solomon. O God, give your judgment to the king; your justice to the son of kings; 7. In His days the righteous shall flourish, And abundance of peace, Until the moon is no more.  8.  He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, And from the River to the ends of the earth.

Psalm 72:13.  He will spare the poor and needy, And will save the souls of the needy. 14.  He will redeem their life from oppression and violence; And precious shall be their blood in His sight. 15.  And He shall live; And the gold of Sheba will be given to Him; Prayer also will be made for Him continually, And daily He shall be praised.  16.  There will be an abundance of grain in the earth, On the top of the mountains; Its fruit shall wave like Lebanon; And those of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.  17.  His name shall endure forever; His name shall continue as long as the sun. And men shall be blessed in Him; All nations shall call Him blessed.

BOOK III (Psalms 73-89)

Psalm 73 once again warns us that God is good to Israel, but only to such as are of a pure heart, which Solomon did not have.

Psalm 73:1.  Truly God is good to Israel, To such as are pure in heart.

Psalm 73:14.  For all day long I have been plagued, And chastened every morning.

Revelation 3:19.  "As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.

In Psalm 74:2 the remnant of the tribe of Israel are now crying out to God in their affliction: Remember thy congregation, which thou hast purchased of old; the rod of thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed; this mount Zion, wherein thou hast dwelt. With a little research, one may find in Jeremiah 10:16 that Israel is the rod of his inheritance.

Psalm 74:3.  Lift up Your feet to the perpetual desolations. The enemy has damaged everything in the sanctuary.  4.  Your enemies roar in the midst of Your meeting place; They set up their banners for signs.  5.  They seem like men who lift up Axes among the thick trees.  6.  And now they break down its carved work, all at once, With axes and hammers.  7.  They have set fire to Your sanctuary; They have defiled the dwelling place of Your name to the ground.  8.  They said in their hearts, "Let us destroy them altogether.'' They have burned up all the meeting places of God in the land.  9.  We do not see our signs; There is no longer any prophet; Nor is there any among us who knows how long.

Next we see the correlation in time between Psalm 74 and Revelation 13.

Psalm 74:10.  O God, how long will the adversary reproach? Will the enemy blaspheme Your name forever?

Psalm 74:18.  Remember this, that the enemy has reproached, O Lord, And that a foolish people has blasphemed Your name. 19.  Oh, do not deliver the life of Your turtledove to the wild beast! Do not forget the life of Your poor forever.

Revelation 13:4.  So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, "Who is like the beast? Psalm 79
A Prayer for Jerusalem
1. A psalm of Asaph. O God, the nations have invaded your heritage; they have defiled your holy temple, have laid Jerusalem in ruins.2. They have left the corpses of your servants as food for the birds of the heavens, the flesh of your faithful for the beasts of the earth.3. They have spilled their blood like water all around Jerusalem, and no one is left to bury them.

The beast is now sitting on the throne in Jerusalem and the holy prophets bodies have been taken out of their graves.

In Psalm 80 Ephraim, Benjamin and Manasseh which is the house of Joseph cry out to the Lord to be saved and turned again. The house of Joseph call to the Shepherd of Israel: Jesus who dwells among the cherubim. Because they already know who the Shepherd is, they are obviously from Christian nations and indicates that they have fallen away from the Lord whom they once knew as a people and are being chastened to return and be saved again.

Hosea 7:8.  "Ephraim has mixed himself among the peoples; Ephraim is a cake unturned.

In Psalm 81 the house of Joseph who was prophesied to be separate from Israel in Deut. 33:16 praise God after they are gathered up into heaven from the grave. Sing aloud unto God our strength; make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob. The rest of Israel shall be chastened and refined further into this time of affliction.

Take up a melody, sound the timbrel, the sweet-sounding harp and lyre.  4. Blow the trumpet at the new moon, at the full moon, on our solemn feast 5.  This he ordained in Joseph for a testimony, when he went out through the land of Egypt: where I heard a language that I understood not.6.  I removed his shoulder from the burden: his hands were delivered from the pots. 7. Thou called in trouble, and I delivered thee; I answered thee in the secret place of thunder: I proved thee at the waters of Meribah. Selah.

Psalm 83:1.  Do not keep silent, O God! Do not hold Your peace, And do not be still, O God!  2.  For behold, Your enemies make a tumult; And those who hate You have lifted up their head.  3.  They have taken crafty counsel against Your people, And consulted together against Your sheltered ones. 4.  They have said, "Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, That the name of Israel may be remembered no more.'' 5.  For they have consulted together with one consent; They form a confederacy against You: 6.  The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites; Moab and the Hagarites; 7.  Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre; 8.  Assyria also has joined with them; They have helped the children of Lot. Selah

Obviously the names of these countries and peoples have changed and are different at the present time.

Daniel 7:7.  "After this I saw in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, exceedingly strong. It had huge iron teeth; it was devouring, breaking in pieces, and trampling the residue with its feet. It was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns.  8. "I was considering the horns, and there was another horn, a little one, coming up among them, before whom three of the first horns were plucked out by the roots. And there, in this horn, were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking pompous words.

Daniel 7:24.  The ten horns are ten kings who shall arise from this kingdom. And another shall rise after them; he shall be different from the first ones, and shall subdue three kings.

Revelation 17:15.  And he said to me, "The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues.  16.  "And the ten horns which you saw on the beast, these will hate the harlot, make her desolate and naked, eat her flesh and burn her with fire.  17.  "For God has put it into their hearts to fulfill His purpose, to be of one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled.  18.  "And the woman whom you saw is that great city which reigns over the kings of the earth.''

Psalm 84:1. For the leader; `upon the .' A psalm of the Korahites. 2. How lovely your dwelling, O LORD of hosts!  3. My soul yearns and pines for the courts of the LORD. Many consider Moses to be one of the two witnesses who prophesy in Jerusalem in the last days. I’m not sure who the second witness is but I think it might be Daniel.

Psalm 91 speaks of the evil beings that come up from the pit and the Euphrates River who will be defeated by Jesus and are bringing forth their wrath upon the earth, for their time is short.

Psalm 91:13. You shall tread upon the asp and the viper, trample the lion and the dragon.

First the Lord gathers his elect of Israel, the wheat; and then the wicked are subjected to Gods wrath as written in Revelation 14:14-20. The first angelic being (Jesus) gathers his own and then the reaper crushes the evil ones.

Revelation 14:14.  And I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and on the cloud sat One like the Son of Man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle.  15.  And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to Him who sat on the cloud, "Thrust in Your sickle and reap, for the time has come for You to reap, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.''

Psalm 102:7 I watch, and am as a sparrow alone upon the house top. The true prophets are sometimes described as watchers, servants and messengers. 102:13-14 Thou shalt arise and have mercy upon Zion for the time to favor her, yea, the set time is come. For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favor the dust thereof.

Psalm 118:3.  Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.

Conclusive evidence that the Psalms are chronological is a prophecy by Jesus in the book of Matthew.

Matthew 23: 37.  "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing!  38.  "See! Your house is left to you desolate;  39.  "for I say to you, you shall see Me no more till you say, `Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!' ''

Psalm 118:26.  Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! We have blessed you from the house of the Lord.

The mystery of the extra 45 days spoken of by the prophet Daniel is exposed in the latter book of Psalm. With Bible scriptures we must ignore and disregard the numbers of the verses and chapters which were not originally included in the ancient manuscripts, but added at a later time for reference. Beginning in Psalm 119 there are twenty-two letters of the Hebrew alphabet, from Aleph to Tau. Second, there are fifteen songs of degrees or ascents beginning in Psalm 120. Thirdly, there are 8 Psalms of David beginning in Psalm 138 which parallel the feast of tabernacles; all of which total forty-five; the number of days of the first ‘bema’ judgment of Revelation, in which all are blessed and take part in the first resurrection. As I mentioned in the beginning of this chapter, the Psalms are indicative of the procession of time, as is degrees and the alphabet. How great is our Lord to show us these ancient mysteries in these last days!

Daniel 12:11.  "And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days.  12.  "Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.

1260 days for the witness of the two prophets and completion of the second woe. 30 days for the completion of the seven bowl plagues which are the third woe upon the wicked that dwell upon the earth.

In these Psalms of judgment the ’word’ is listed 51 times, judgment: 28, law: 25, righteousness: 24, commandments: 23, statutes: 22, testimonies: 22, precepts: 21, and etc.

In the last Psalm of David, Praise is written 49 times!

Revelation 11:16.  And the twenty-four elders who sat before God on their thrones fell on their faces and worshiped God,  17.  saying: "We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, the One who is and who was and who is to come, because You have taken Your great power and reigned.  18.  The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints, and those who fear Your name, small and great, and should destroy those who destroy the earth.''  19.  Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple. And there were lightnings, noises, thunderings, an earthquake, and great hail.
