Pale Green Horse of Revelation

1 Fourth Seal
2 Pale Horse aka Green Horse
3 Death
4 Hell aka Hades
5 Fourth Part of the Earth
Killed with:
6 Sword
7 Famine for the Poor
8 Kill with Death
9 Beasts of the Earth
10 Murderers

Fourth Seal

Rev 6:7  And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.

The opening of the fourth seal is the beginning of the time of great tribulation for the gentile peoples; especially those who have true faith in Jesus Christ. This is not God’s wrath which does not begin until the sixth seal, but is the wrath of Satan and the power given to him to try those gentiles of righteousness. Much of the information given about the people killed for their faith involved in the fourth seal shall overlap with the fifth and sixth seals because more information is revealed about them as each seal is opened.

Pale aka Green Horse

Rev 6:8  And I looked, and behold a pale G5515  horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
G5515   χλωρός
chlōros   khlo-ros'
From the same as G5514; greenish, that is, verdant, dun-colored: - green, pale.

The literal Greek translation for a pale horse in Revelation is a green horse. There are no natural colored green horses here on earth so it appears the Bible translators thought it would be best to interpret the Greek word chloros to be pale. In every other instance the word is written in the New Testament it is obviously green. We do know that when people die their flesh becomes colorless and pale. The four horses are symbolic of four powerful spirits and not fleshly animals; therefore they are not visible to the eyes of those who dwell upon the earth. The white and red horses symbolically are already certainly roaming the earth at the present time. Green is often representative of life, prosperity and flourishing. It may be the horse is green because he searches after the lives of the living and takes it from them. His rider is after all death and his partner is Hades, the abode of the dead.

Here are the other three examples of the same Greek word chloros written in the Holy Bible:

Rev 8:7  The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green G5515 grass was burnt up.
Rev 9:4  And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green G5515 thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.
Mar 6:39  And he commanded them to make all sit down by companies upon the green G5515 grass.
Here below are the Hebrew words written to describe green or pale.
H3418   יֶרֶק
yereq   yeh'-rek
From H3417 (in the sense of vacuity of color); properly pallor, that is, hence the yellowish green of young and sickly vegetation; concretely verdure, that is, grass or vegetation: - grass, green (thing).
H3420   יֵרָקוֹן
yêrâqôn   yay-raw-kone'
From H3418; paleness, whether of persons (from fright), or of plants (from drought): - mildew, paleness.
The three evil unclean spirits which come out of the beast, false prophet and dragon which we can assume is symbolically another reptile are described as green like frogs and serpents or snakes  are often used to describe these wicked creatures which are currently invisible to the human eye.

Rev 16:13  And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs G944 come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
Rev 16:14  For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

G944   βάτραχος
Batrachos  bat'-rakh-os
Of uncertain derivation; a frog: - frog.
G1404   δράκων
drakōn  drak'-own
Probably from an alternate form of δέρκομαι derkomai (to look); a fabulous kind of serpent (perhaps as supposed to fascinate): - dragon.

Death
Contrary to the other three horses in Revelation 6 there is little mystery surrounding the identity of the rider on the pale green horse and what mission he shall accomplish. Death is the name of the rider on the pale horse and he has a partner who follows with him named Hades.

Rev 6:8  And I looked, and behold a green horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

Satan currently has some power over death of the body but Jesus Christ has the keys to unlock death and Hades in that all those who follow and worship him shall live with him eternally by being born again of the Spirit above. Our Lord has even selected some elect who will not die in the flesh but their bodies will be changed at his arrival. None of this group of believers shall be raptured alive. Those who choose not to follow him shall experience the second death of the spirit and are cast into the lake of fire for evermore.

Heb 2:14  Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil

Before Jesus died and resurrected all died in the flesh with the exception of Enoch and Elijah whose spirit came back as John the Baptist and was beheaded.

Rev 1:18  I am he that lives, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hades and of death.
1Co 15:26  The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
Rev 20:13  And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hades delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
Rev 20:14  And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death
Rev 20:15  And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
Luk 12:4 And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.

Gehenna is the lake of fire; the future permanent residence of the wicked as opposed to Hades which is temporary.

Luk 12:5  But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into gehenna; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

Jesus went down into Abraham’s bosom and preached his gospel unto the dead saints of the Old Covenant.

Joh 5:25  Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.

Some of the 24 elders come from this group of saints seen walking around Jerusalem.
Matthew 27:50.  Jesus, when He had cried out again with a loud voice, yielded up His spirit.  51.  And behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split,  52.  and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised;  53.  and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many.

1 Peter 4:6.  For this reason the gospel was preached also to those who are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.
Isa 26:19  Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.

Isa 26:20  Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.

Joh 8:51  Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my Word, he shall never see death.

Death still has dominion over those who choose not to accept Christ and be baptized.

Rom 6:3  Know ye not, that as many of us baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death
Rom 6:4  Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
Rom 6:5  For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

Death of the body is now a temporary occurrence for most of the followers of Christ with the exception of the 144000 virgins and the small remnant of Jerusalem whose flesh shall not die but be changed at the conclusion of the first judgment.

Heb 9:27  And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
Joh 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that hears my Word, and believeth on Him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
Rom 5:12  Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
Rom 6:9  Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
Act 2:24  Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.

Hell aka Hades
There is some confusion about the meaning of Hell and its location. Hades and Gehenna which is the lake of fire are sometime both interpreted or translated as hell. Both are places of fiery torment for the wicked but Hades is a temporary holding area for the dead until the second and final judgment. From there the wicked dead are cast into the lake of fire for eternity.

Luk 16:23  And in hell G86 he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
G86   ᾅδης
hadēs   hah'-dace
From G1 (as a negative particle) and G1492; properly unseen, that is, Hades” or the place (state) of departed souls: - grave, hell.

Luk 16:24  And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
Luk 16:25  But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime received thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
Luk 16:26  And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

The good departed dead who have not yet ascended into heaven reside in the bosom of Abraham or Paradise the new name given by Jesus on the cross, which is across an impenetrable barrier in Hades. In the Old Testament Hebrew the word Sheol is used.

Paradise

Luk 23:42  And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.
Luk 23:43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.

Jesus did not resurrect and ascend into heaven until the third day so I must deduce that Paradise is the new name given by our Lord to the area known as Abraham’s bosom which is in the same vicinity of Hades as illustrated in the poor beggar Lazarus scriptures. Jesus dying on the cross for the whole world obviously changed many things including Abraham’s bosom and for those who reside in that temporary holding area. It is not uncommon for our Lord to give different names to people, places and things as time unfolds.

Eph 4:9  (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth
Eph 4:10  He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)
1Pe 3:18  For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
1Pe 3:19  By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison
Act 2:31  He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in Hades, neither his flesh did see corruption.
Joh 20:1  The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.
Joh 20:16  Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.
Joh 20:17  Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.
Joh 20:19  Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.

Jesus had now ascended into heaven with our Father and was then able to give his Holy Spirit to his disciples.

Joh 20:22  And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:
1 Peter 4:6.  For this reason the gospel was preached also to those who are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.
Abraham’s bosom or Paradise is in a protected area of Hades which is in the heart of the earth where scientists have theorized is fiery hot molten location.
Mat 12:40  For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

Sheol is the Hebrew name for Hades
H7585   שְׁאֹל שְׁאוֹל
she'ôl    she'ôl   sheh-ole', sheh-ole'
From H7592; hades or the world of the dead (as if a subterranian retreat), including its accessories and inmates: - grave, hell, pit.

Hos 13:14  I will ransom them from the power of Sheol; I will redeem them from death: O death, where are thy plagues? O Sheol, where is thy destruction? repentance shall be hid from mine eyes.

1Sa 2:6  The LORD kills, and makes alive: he brings down to Sheol, and brings up.
1Sa 2:8  He raises up the poor out of the dust, and lifts up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD'S, and he hath set the world upon them.
Gen 37:34  And Jacob rent his garments, and put sackcloth upon his loins, and mourned for his son many days.

Righteous patriarch of faith Jacob proclaimed that he would go down to Sheol to be with his son.

Gen 37:35 And all his sons and all his daughters rose up to comfort him; but he refused to be comforted; and he said, For I will go down to Sheol to my son mourning. And his father wept for him.

I must deduce that the lowest Sheol is where the wicked are in the fiery, tormenting section of Hades.

Deu 32:22 For a fire is kindled in mine anger, And burns unto the lowest Sheol, And devoureth the earth with its increase, And setteth on fire the foundations of the mountains.
Psa 30:3  O Jahavah, thou hast brought up my soul from Sheol; Thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.
Psa 89:48  What man is he that shall live and not see death, That shall deliver his soul from the power of Sheol? Selah.
Psa 139:8  If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, thou art there.

Pro 7:27  Her house is the way to Sheol, Going down to the chambers of death.

Isa 14:15  Yet thou shalt be brought down to Sheol, to the uttermost parts of the pit.

At the first judgment only righteous souls are resurrected unto eternal life. At the second judgment two books are opened; the first being death and the second is life.

Rev 20:11  And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
Rev 20:12  And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the a books were was opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

Two books of death and life are opened; while death and hades seem to be two separate entities yet similar and always together.

Rev 20:13  And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hades delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

There will be some righteous at the final judgment which is after the millennial reign of Christ upon earth who are written in the book of life.

Rev 20:14  And death and hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

Fourth Part of the Earth

Rev 6:8  And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

There are scriptures which refer to the fourth part of Jacob or Israel descended through Abraham who was promised blessing to all nations of his seed.

Num 23:10  Who can count the dust of Jacob, and the number of the fourth part of Israel? Let me die the death of the righteous, and let my last end be like his!
Gen 13:14  And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:
Gen 13:15  For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.

The seed of Abraham is all those of every nation and kindred who have faith in Jesus Christ, the seed of David through the Holy Spirit which came upon the virgin Mary.

Gen 13:16  And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: so that if a man can number the dust of the earth, then shall thy seed also be numbered.
Gen 22:17  That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;
Gen 22:18  And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.
Gen 28:13  And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I am the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed;
Gen 28:14  And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed
Gen 28:16  And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the LORD is in this place; and I knew it not.
Gal 3:14  That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Isa 10:22  For though thy people Israel be as the sand of the sea, yet a remnant of them shall return: the consumption decreed shall overflow with righteousness.
Jer 33:15  In those days, and at that time, will I cause the Branch of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land.

Jer 33:22  As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured: so will I multiply the seed of David my servant, and the Levites that minister unto me.

Hos 1:10  Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God.
Rom 9:24  Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles
Rom 9:25  As he saith also in Osee, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved.
Rom 9:26  And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God.

The gentiles are sometimes referred to as strangers in the Old Covenant.

2Ch 15:9  And he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and the strangers with them out of Ephraim and Manasseh, and out of Simeon: for they fell to Israel in abundance, when they saw that the LORD his God was with them
Isa 14:1  For the LORD will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land: and the strangers shall be joined with them, and they shall cleave to the house of Jacob.

Jesus garments were divided into four parts by the Roman soldiers.

Joh 19:23  Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments, and made four parts, to every soldier a part; and also his coat: now the coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout.
Joh 19:24  They said therefore among themselves, Let us not rend it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be: that the scripture might be fulfilled, which saith, They parted my raiment among them, and for my vesture they did cast lots. These things therefore the soldiers did.

Isa 49:18  Lift up thine eyes round about, and behold: all these gather themselves together, and come to thee. As I live, saith the LORD, thou shalt surely clothe thee with them all, as with an ornament, and bind them on thee, as a bride doeth.
Isa 49:21  Then shalt thou say in thine heart, Who hath begotten me these, seeing I have lost my children, and am desolate, a captive, and removing to and fro? and who hath brought up these? Behold, I was left alone; these, where had they been?
Rev 7:13  And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?

Isa 49:22  Thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I will lift up mine hand to the Gentiles, and set up my standard to the people: and they shall bring thy sons in their arms, and thy daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders.
Rev 7:9  After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

Isa 49:23  And kings shall be thy nursing fathers, and their queens thy nursing mothers: they shall bow down to thee with their face toward the earth, and lick up the dust of thy feet; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD: for they shall not be ashamed that wait for me.
Isa 49:25  But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.
Isa 49:26  And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.
Isa 61:10  I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.
Isa 61:11  For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.

We know from the book of Revelation that there are seven churches which make up the whole church of Christ but there are only four quarters of his house. There are seven lampstands but only four bowls in the menorah which represent the four houses taken in the four watches of the night in great tribulation.

Exo 25:31  And thou shalt make a menorah of pure gold: of beaten work shall the candlestick be made: his shaft, and his branches, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, shall be of the same.

The shaft of the menorah is the center branch which added to the six makes up the seven churches.

Exo 25:32  And six branches shall come out of the sides of it; three branches of the menorah out of the one side, and three branches of the menorah out of the other side:
Exo 25:34  And in the menorah shall be four bowls H1375  made like unto almonds H8246, with their knops and their flowers.
H1375   גְּבִיעַ
gêya‛   gheb-ee'-ah
From an unused root (meaning to be convex); a goblet; by analogy the calyx of a flower: - house, cup, pot.
H1360   גֶּבֶא
gebe'   geh'-beh
From an unused root meaning probably to collect; a reservoir; by analogy a marsh: - marsh, pit.
H8247   שָׁקֵד
shâqêd   shaw-kade'
From H8245; the almond (tree or nut; as being the earliest in bloom): - almond (tree).

There are four watches in the night…see below.

H8245   שָׁקַד
shâqad   shaw-kad'
A primitive root; to be alert, that is, sleepless; hence to be on the lookout (whether for good or ill): - hasten, remain, wake, watch (for).
Symbolically the Lord sometimes uses fruits or firstfruits of the earth to describe his people who are harvested. The four fruits listed in Revelation are wheat, barley, oil which comes from olives and wine which comes from grapes; both of which are pressed, trampled, squished, or squeezed. Great tribulation is narrowness and tightness achieved to enter into the straight and narrow gate to heaven. The sycamore fig tree must be pinched in order to ripen on the tree.

Rev 6:6  And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.

The fourth part of the earth slain in the book of Revelation 6 represented by the barley is the gentile portion of his church  that was promised and is blessed through Abraham by faith in Christ. There are four corners of a great sheet shown to the apostle Simon Peter when it was revealed to him that salvation is also offered unto the gentile peoples of the world.

Act 11:5  I was in the city of Joppa praying: and in a trance I saw a vision, A certain vessel descend, as it had been a great sheet, let down from heaven by four corners; and it came even to me:

This revelation in the book of Acts is a parable that some of the church use to rationalize eating anything they want but it is a spiritual message about the gentiles supping or dining with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ the Son of God. In other words we must all be fit for his consumption, just as we must be fit to consume him as the bread of Christ when we take communion.

Act 11:1  And the apostles and brethren that were in Judaea heard that the Gentiles had also received the word of God.
Act 11:2  And when Peter was come up to Jerusalem, they that were of the circumcision contended with him,
Act 11:3  Saying, Thou wentest in to men uncircumcised, and didst eat with them.
Act 11:7  And I heard a voice saying unto me, Arise, Peter; slay and eat.

Rev 3:20  Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Act 11:8  But I said, Not so, Lord: for nothing common or unclean hath at any time entered into my mouth
Act 11:9  But the voice answered me again from heaven, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.
Act 11:18  When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.

The whole church of Laodicea in its present state is not fit for Christ consumption and will be vomited out into great tribulation to be refined or cooked in the fire in order to be consumable.

Rev 3:16  So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth

The apostle and prophet Paul explains that the faithful gentiles are grafted into Israel.

Rom 11:17  And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;
Eze 47:22  And it shall come to pass, that ye shall divide it by lot for an inheritance unto you, and to the strangers that sojourn among you, which shall beget children among you: and they shall be unto you as born in the country among the children of Israel; they shall have inheritance with you among the tribes of Israel.
Isa 49:6  And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.
Isa 49:12  Behold, these shall come from far: and, lo, these from the north and from the west; and these from the land of Sinim.
Isa 49:13  Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted.

Four Watches in the Night of Great Tribulation

There are four separate watches for the four separate corners or houses of the whole church of Christ with the gentiles being taken at even or evening in the first watch of the night.

Mar 13:33  Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
Mar 13:34  For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.
Mar 13:35  Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
Luk 12:37  Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.
Luk 12:38  And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.
Luk 12:39 And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.

The surviving remnant of Jerusalem are taken in the fourth watch of the night.

Mat 14:25  And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea

Four different groups of laborers are hired by the Lord at four different times.

Mat 20:3  And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace,
Mat 20:4  And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way.
Mat 20:5  Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise.
Mat 20:6  And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle?

In the prophecy of Ezekiel Noah represents all nations of the gentiles, Daniel represents the 144000 virgins and Job represents the house of Israel. The fourth house is the remnant which survives and comes out of apostate Jerusalem which is the capitol of mystery Babylon.

Eze 14:18  Though these three men were in it, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither sons nor daughters, but they only shall be delivered themselves.
Eze 14:19  Or if I send a pestilence into that land, and pour out my fury upon it in blood, to cut off from it man and beast:
Eze 14:20  Though Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, as I live, saith the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither son nor daughter; they shall but deliver their own souls by their righteousness.
Eze 14:21  For thus saith the Lord GOD; How much more when I send my four sore judgments upon Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the noisome beast, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast?
Eze 14:22  Yet, behold, therein shall be left a remnant that shall be brought forth, both sons and daughters: behold, they shall come forth unto you, and ye shall see their way and their doings: and ye shall be comforted concerning the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, even concerning all that I have brought upon it.

Mat 24:31  And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Sword

Psa 37:14  The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation.
Mat 26:52 Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword
Rev 13:10  He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
Jer 25:29  For, lo, I begin to bring evil on the city which is called by my name, and should ye be utterly unpunished? Ye shall not be unpunished: for I will call for a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, saith the LORD of hosts.
Heb 11:37 They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented;
G4501   ῥομφαία
Rhomphaia   hrom-fah'-yah
Probably of foreign origin; a sabre, that is, a long and broad cutlass (any weapon of the kind, literally or figuratively): - sword.

A sword in the modern age would also represent a weapon which can kill the body such as a gun. The great sword given to the rider on the red horse is obviously not a traditional sharp steel sword used as the weapon of choice in the pre-technology age. This sword used to kill also does not represent the sword of the mouth of the Lord because his wrath does not begin until the sixth seal is opened. When I think about being killed by the sword I always remember a television documentary which showed a young thin African male approximately 16 to 20 years old being killed by an African rebel who was executing a whole tribe one by one with a large sword and he told his victim to be quiet and not make a fuss while his throat was being slit. This young African male did exactly as he was told and I can only think he was a born again saved Christian who was led to the slaughter. The church of Smyrna is this gentile church who suffers and dies for their faith; being murdered and killed intentionally by evil people in power.
This next chapter written by the prophet Isaiah is of course describing our Lord and savior Jesus Christ who set the example for suffering and dying for the sins of the entire world.

Isa 53:1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?
Isa 53:2  For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
Isa 53:3  He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

Just as many ignored and ignore Jesus Christ, a large number of us hide our faces and eyes from the terrible conditions and deaths of the poor gentile peoples around the world.

Isa 53:4  Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
Isa 53:5  But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
Isa 53:6  All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
Isa 53:7  He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

The poor gentile peoples have no mouth to speak. There are few standing in the gap for them save Jesus Christ.

Mat 25:41  Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
Mat 25:42  For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
Mat 25:43  I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
Mat 25:44  Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
Mat 25:45  Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
Mat 25:46  And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Isa 53:8  He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.
Isa 53:9  And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
Isa 53:10  Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
Isa 53:11  He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
Isa 53:12  Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Famine
Drought causes famine and disease which still kill many people in the world today despite the great wealth, food, clean water technology and medical supplies available today. The pale green horse of Revelation which is given power to kill a fourth of the earth is a spirit but works through the bodies of people who shall be accountable for these deaths because they rejected the truth of Jesus Christ.

Rev 6:8  And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

Famine is usually the result of drought because there is a lack of rain or precipitation to grow crops.

1Ki 18:1  And it came to pass after many days, that the word of the LORD came to Elijah in the third year, saying, Go, shew thyself unto Ahab; and I will send rain upon the earth.
1Ki 18:2  And Elijah went to shew himself unto Ahab. And there was a sore famine in Samaria.

Great multitude of the Gentile Nations of Abraham

Rev 7:9  After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
Rev 7:13  And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?
Rev 7:14  And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
Rev 7:15  Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.

This scripture alludes to the fact that this group was suffering famine which is the result of drought.

Rev 7:16  They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.
Rev 7:17  For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
Isa 41:17  When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth for thirst, I the LORD will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them.

The poor and needy are the first to feel the effects of drought as the rich horde the water resources for greedy gain of profits and wealth. The church of Smyrna is the poor, persecuted, suffering and murdered church of the gentiles.

Rev 2:8  And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;
Rev 2:9  I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan
Rev 2:10  Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
Jer 16:19  O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.

Jas 2:5  Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?
Exo 22:25  If thou lend money to any of my people that is poor by thee, thou shalt not be to him as an usurer, neither shalt thou lay upon him interest.
Deu 24:14  Thou shalt not oppress an hired servant that is poor and needy, whether he be of thy brethren, or of thy strangers that are in thy land within thy gates:

The persecution, affliction, torment and murder of the poor and needy is intentional and organized

Psa 10:2  The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: H6041 let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.
H6041   עָנִי
‛ânı̂y   aw-nee'
From H6031; depressed, in mind or circumstances (practically the same as H6035 subjectively and H6041 objectively): - afflicted, humble`, lowly`, needy, poor.

Psa 10:8  He sitteth in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places doth he murder the innocent: his eyes are privily set against the poor. H2489
H2489   חֵלְכָה    חֵלְכָא
chêlekâ'    chêlekâh   khay-lek-aw', khay-lek-aw'
Apparently from an unused root probably meaning to be dark or (figuratively) unhappy; a wretch, that is, unfortunate: - poor.

Psa 10:9  He lieth in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lieth in wait to catch the poor: he doth catch the poor, when he draweth him into his net.
Psa 10:10  He croucheth, and humbleth himself, that the poor may fall by his strong ones.
Psa 10:11  He hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: he hideth his face; he will never see it.
Psa 12:5  For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, H34 now will I arise, saith the LORD; I will set him in safety from him that puffeth at him.
H34   אֶבְיוֹן
'ebyôn   eb-yone'
From H14, in the sense of want (especially in feeling); destitute: - beggar, needy, poor (man).
Psa 37:14  The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation

Pro 28:6  Better is the poor H7326 that walketh in his uprightness, than he that is perverse in his ways, though he be rich.
H7326   רוּשׁ
rûsh   roosh
A primitive root; to be destitute: - lack, needy, (make self) poor (man).
Pro 30:12  There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness.
Pro 30:13  There is a generation, O how lofty are their eyes! and their eyelids are lifted up.
Pro 30:14  There is a generation, whose teeth are as swords, and their jaw teeth as knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men.

Isa 32:6  For the vile person will speak villany, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against the LORD, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.
Isa 32:7  The instruments also of the churl are evil: he deviseth wicked devices to destroy the poor with lying words, even when the needy speaketh right.
Jer 2:34  Also in thy skirts is found the blood of the souls of the poor innocents: I have not found it by secret search, but upon all these.
\
Eze 22:29  The people of the land have used oppression, and exercised robbery, and have vexed the poor and needy: yea, they have oppressed the stranger wrongfully.
Amo 4:1  Hear this word, ye kine of Bashan, that are in the mountain of Samaria, which oppress the poor, which crush the needy, which say to their masters, Bring, and let us drink.
Amo 5:12  For I know your manifold transgressions and your mighty sins: they afflict the just, they take a bribe, and they turn aside the poor in the gate from their right.
Amo 8:4  Hear this, O ye that swallow up the needy, even to make the poor of the land to fail,
Hab 3:14  Thou didst strike through with his staves the head of his villages: they came out as a whirlwind to scatter me: their rejoicing was as to devour the poor secretly.

Lord Jesus Christ looks on the poor, hungry and afflicted a whole lot differently.

Luk 6:20  And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God.
Luk 6:21  Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh.
Luk 6:22  Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.
Luk 6:23  Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.

The Overwhelming Majority of the Earth’s Poor Live Near the Equator and are of the gentile races.

The countries listed here are within just 1,500 miles of the equator): India, Kenya, Haiti, Yemen, Guatemala, Honduras, Somalia, Ethiopia, Liberia, Uganda, Rwanda, Congo, Burundi, Zimbabwe, Brazil and Indonesia.
The time of great tribulation is sometimes symbolically represented by summer and the heat of the day, so the multitudes of gentiles which come out of great tribulation are from the church of Smyrna which is poor suffer both physically from drought and famine and great spiritual persecution. The majority of the poor in the world are close to the equator where it is the hottest and some of the world’s greatest droughts are in Africa and where dark skinned people reside.
Most if not all these poor people who live near the equator are dark skinned and I believe that Simon the Cyrenian although apparently of Jewish blood that carried the cross of Jesus may represent them in their struggle to serve Christ. Carrying the cross of Jesus Christ was and is a great honor and should not be looked upon in a negative manner.

Luk 23:26  And as they led him away, they laid hold upon one Simon, a Cyrenian, coming out of the country, and on him they laid the cross, that he might bear it after Jesus.
Kurēnē   koo-ray'-nay
Of uncertain derivation; Cyrene, a region of Africa: - Cyrene.
Cyrene is in Libya which originally was settled by the sons of Ham: not necessarily the people who live there today as the arabs and muslims have settled in most places in the middle east.

Act 13:1  Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

Simeon is an alternative spelling of the name Simon. The spelling of the word Niger has been slightly altered in America yet in its original definition it was not derogatory but simply meant black the same as negro. There are currently two countries in the continent of Africa named Niger and Nigeria.
G3526   Νίγερ
Niger   neeg'-er
Of Latin origin; black; Niger, a Christian: - Niger.
G4826   Συμεών
Sumeōn   soom-eh-one'
From the same as G4613; Symeon (that is, Shimon), the name of five Israelites: - Simeon, Simon.

Jer 16:19  O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.

The gentile church simply have faith in Jesus Christ and obey him which brings upon them trials and tribulations which are initiated by Satan’s church of Mystery Babylon. Those who endure and overcome until the end shall be saved.
The name Smyrna is interpreted to mean myrrh which is known to be bitter.
G4667   Σμύρνα
Smurna   smoor'-nah
The same as G4666; Smyrna, a place in Asia Minor: - Smyrna.
G4666   σμύρνα
Smurna   smoor'-nah
Apparently strengthened for G3464; myrrh: - myrrh.
G4669   σμυρνίζω
smurnizō   smoor-nid'-zo
From G4667; to tincture with myrrh, that is, embitter (as a narcotic): - mingle with myrrh.

In the Old Covenant law which shall be executed upon the wicked mixed serpent seed of Israel, those who do not repent, there was a law of jealousy performed for accused adultery of a woman with the use of bitter water. Symbolically the greater part of Israel is the woman accused rightfully so by God of adultery by worshiping other gods and therefore being infidel and provoking him to jealousy. The bitter water is representative of the gentile church who provokes Israel to jealousy.

Rom 11:13  For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:
Rom 11:14  If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them.
Rom 10:19  But I say, Did not Israel know? First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people, and by a foolish nation I will anger you.
Rom 11:11  I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.
Deu 32:21 They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God; they have provoked me to anger with their vanities: and I will move them to jealousy with those which are not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation.

The apostate Jews of today are angered and disturbed to say the least that the gentiles claim to know the God of Israel through faith in Christ and hate them in their heart.

Rev 2:9  I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.

The Law of Jealousy symbolically depicts the gentiles being the bitter water made from the dust of the floor which enters into the woman which represents Israel. The woman whose stomach becomes bitter receives a curse. The good woman cannot conceive seed unless the bitter water does not defile her. The wicked woman is Mystery Babylon and the good woman is faithful Israel. The man who lied with the wicked woman is Baal or Satan as we call him today.

Mat 5:18  For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Num 5:11  And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Num 5:12  Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man's wife go aside, and commit a trespass against him,
Num 5:13  And a man lie with her carnally, and it be hid from the eyes of her husband, and be kept close, and she be defiled, and there be no witness against her, neither she be taken with the manner;
Num 5:14  And the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be defiled: or if the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be not defiled
Num 5:15  Then shall the man bring his wife unto the priest, and he shall bring her offering for her, the tenth part of an ephah of barley meal; he shall pour no oil upon it, nor put frankincense thereon; for it is an offering of jealousy, an offering of memorial, bringing iniquity to remembrance.
Num 5:16  And the priest shall bring her near, and set her before the LORD:
Num 5:17  And the priest shall take holy water in an earthen vessel; and of the dust that is in the floor of the tabernacle the priest shall take, and put it into the water
Num 5:18  And the priest shall set the woman before the LORD, and uncover the woman's head, and put the offering of memorial in her hands, which is the jealousy offering: and the priest shall have in his hand the bitter water that causeth the curse:
H4751   מָרָה    מַר
mar    mârâh   mar, maw-raw'
From H4843; bitter (literally or figuratively); also (as noun) bitterness, or (adverbially) bitterly: -  + angry, bitter (-ly, -ness), chafed, discontented, X great, heavy.
H4753   מוֹר    מֹר
môr    môr   more, more
From H4843; myrrh (as distilling in drops, and also as bitter): - myrrh.
H4843    מָרַר
mârar   maw-rar'
A primitive root; properly to trickle (see H4752); but used only as a denominative from H4751; to be (causatively make) bitter (literally or figuratively): - (be, be in, deal, have, make) bitter (-ly, -ness), be moved with choler, (be, have sorely, it) grieved (-eth), provoke, vex.

Num 5:19  And the priest shall charge her by an oath, and say unto the woman, If no man have lain with thee, and if thou hast not gone aside to uncleanness with another instead of thy husband, be thou free from this bitter water that causeth the curse:
Num 5:20  But if thou hast gone aside to another instead of thy husband, and if thou be defiled, and some man have lain with thee beside thine husband:
Num 5:21  Then the priest shall charge the woman with an oath of cursing, and the priest shall say unto the woman, The LORD make thee a curse and an oath among thy people, when the LORD doth make thy thigh to rot, and thy belly to swell;
Num 5:22  And this water that causeth the curse shall go into thy bowels, to make thy belly to swell, and thy thigh to rot: And the woman shall say, Amen, amen.
Num 5:23  And the priest shall write these curses in a book, and he shall blot them out with the bitter water:
Num 5:24  And he shall cause the woman to drink the bitter water that causeth the curse: and the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter.
Num 5:25  Then the priest shall take the jealousy offering out of the woman's hand, and shall wave the offering before the LORD, and offer it upon the altar:
Num 5:26  And the priest shall take an handful of the offering, even the memorial thereof, and burn it upon the altar, and afterward shall cause the woman to drink the water.
Rev 6:9  And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:

Num 5:27  And when he hath made her to drink the water, then it shall come to pass, that, if she be defiled, and have done trespass against her husband, that the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter, and her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall rot: and the woman shall be a curse among her people.
Num 5:28  And if the woman be not defiled, but be clean; then she shall be free, and shall conceive seed.

Those of Israel who confess their sins and are repentant shall be saved and born again in the Spirit after the fullness of the gentile church is accomplished as we see the wrath of the lamb of God and the 144000 virgins of the twelve tribes of Israel marked with a seal immediately following.

Rev 6:11  And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
Rev 7:3  Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.
Rev 7:4  And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.
Rev 7:9  After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

Num 5:29  This is the law of jealousies, when a wife goeth aside to another instead of her husband, and is defiled;
Exo 34:14  For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:

Eze 16:38 And I will judge thee, as women that break wedlock and shed blood are judged; and I will give thee blood in fury and jealousy.
1Th 2:14  For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they have of the Jews:
1Th 2:15  Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men:
1Th 2:16  Forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, to fill up their sins alway: for the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost.
Act 13:45  But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming.
Act 13:46  Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.

Rev 6:9  And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
Rev 6:10  And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
Lev 4:18  And he shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar which is before the LORD, that is in the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall pour out all the blood at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
Lev 8:15  And he slew it; and Moses took the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar round about with his finger, and purified the altar, and poured the blood at the bottom of the altar, and sanctified it, to make reconciliation upon it.

Kill with Death

Rev 6:8  And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
When I read that death kills with death it causes a little confusion in my understanding of the structure of the grammar written. God’s Word does not always follow man’s order of translation and interpretation procedures. Occasionally a mistake is made by men but the Holy Scriptures indicate a relationship between death and pestilence or plagues. In the Septuagint pestilence is the interpretation which is a weapon of choice for death as they go hand in hand. The following results of drought and famine are disease from fouled water and tainted food.
Jesus indicated that pestilence which follows famine would be one of the beginnings of sorrows or travailing in birth which is what the four horsemen bring upon the earth.

Mat 24:7  For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
Mat 24:8  All these are the beginning of sorrows.

Once again this is not the judgment of God upon Israel and Jerusalem but the power given to Satan over Death and Hades to kill a fourth of the earth in his imitation of God.

Hos 13:14  I will ransom them from the hand of Sheol; I will redeem them from death. O death, where is your pestilence H1698? O Sheol, where is your ruin? Repentance is hidden from My eyes.
H1698   דֶּבֶר
Deber   deh'-ber
From H1696 (in the sense of destroying); a pestilence: - murrain, pestilence, plague.
Vincent’s Word Studies
With death (ἐι θανάτῳ)
Or pestilence. The Hebrew deber, pestilence, is rendered by the Greek word for death in the Septuagint. See Jer_14:12; Jer_21:7. Compare the term black-death applied to an Oriental plague which raged in the fourteenth century.

Psa 78:50  He made a way to his anger; he spared not their soul from death, but gave their life over to the pestilence;

In Bible prophecy beasts of the earth usually refer to Satan’s spiritually indwelt evil people who do his will. Instruction was given in the books written by Moses warning not to drive out the wicked Canaanites too quickly, allowing the literal beasts of the field to multiply.

The Murderers

God calls these evil serpent seed of the devil Mystery Babylon. While it is often reported that Muslims are starving and murdering the Christian peoples of some of these poor countries it is in the power of wealthy and mighty Mystery Babylon to stop these tragedies but they do not. In fact scripture indicates that it is intentionally devised and planned by Mystery Babylon as they are accountable for all the deaths of the righteous upon the whole earth.

Psa 37:16  A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked.

The Jewish religious leaders were responsible for the death of Jesus Christ at the hands of the gentiles. In their eyes they are innocent because their hands were not dirty. All nations are deceived by Mystery Babylon and often whether knowingly or not do their dirty work for them.

Jer 2:33  Why trimmest thou thy way to seek love? therefore hast thou also taught the wicked ones thy ways.

The wicked religious leaders of mystery Babylon and all its offshoots of false Christianity are responsible for the deaths of the poor and afflicted as well as all the saints of God. They will tell you it’s the Kazars who say they are Jews and are not but are the synagogue of Satan but Jesus says it’s them, the descendants of Abraham, yet at the same time they are also offspring of the serpent that belong to the synagogue of Satan. Who do you believe?

Joh 8:41  Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.
Joh 8:44  Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
Joh 8:47  He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.
Joh 8:53  Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself?

Mat 13:39  The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

There are many things to say about the who and how the poor and needy are being afflicted and murdered in this great technological age . Jesus only condemned the apostate religious leaders who claimed to know the Most High God of the Holy Scriptures and I now know that this extends to the apostate Christian leaders of the American and western churches who are workers of unrighteousness.  Choose what and who you fight wisely. At its core and in the end our fight is a spiritual fight. My fight is with Satan and his offspring through the power of the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ the Lord of lords and King of kings.

Amo 5:10  They hate him that rebukes in the gate, and they abhor him that speakes uprightly.
Amo 5:11  Forasmuch therefore as your treading is upon the poor, and ye take from him burdens of wheat: ye have built houses of hewn stone, but ye shall not dwell in them; ye have planted pleasant vineyards, but ye shall not drink wine of them.
Amo 5:12  For I know your manifold transgressions and your mighty sins: they afflict the just, they take a bribe, and they turn aside the poor in the gate from their right.
Amo 5:13  Therefore the prudent shall keep silence in that time; for it is an evil time.
Amo 5:14  Seek good, and not evil, that ye may live: and so the LORD, the God of hosts, shall be with you, as ye have spoken.
Amo 5:15  Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate: it may be that the LORD God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph.

Know this that those with eyes to see and ears to hear put a greater target upon themselves when they become aware of the evil happening in this evil day, yet it is necessary to overcome the great deception of the workings of Satan and his offspring.

Isa 59:15  Yea, truth faileth; and he that departs from evil makes himself a prey: and the LORD saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment.
2Ch 32:8  With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the LORD our God to help us, and to fight our battles. And the people rested themselves upon the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.

The apostle Paul, whom is the called and anointed shepherd of the great multitude of gentiles, spoke most eloquently on this matter about this evil day which has come upon us.

Eph 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
Eph 6:11  Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
Eph 6:12  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Eph 6:13  Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Eph 6:14  Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
Eph 6:15  And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace
Eph 6:16  Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
Eph 6:17  And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God:
Eph 6:18  Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
Eph 6:19  And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
Amen

Forgive them Father; they know not what they do.
