Revelation 17:5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY BABYLON THE GREAT, THE
MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS
OF THE EARTH. 6.
And I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the
saints and with the blood of the martyrs of
Jesus. And when I saw her, I marveled with great amazement.
Luke
13:33. "Nevertheless I must journey
today, tomorrow, and the day following; for it cannot
be that a prophet should perish outside of Jerusalem.
Many descriptions of Babylon and Jerusalem in prophecy are
interchangeable. Often it is a dual prophecy in which judgment occurs upon
geographical Babylon in the short term whereas it is a long term judgment for
Jerusalem The blood of the
saints, prophets, apostles, servants and righteous are usually described as
being found in Babylon or Jerusalem. There are other derogatory nicknames given
to earthly Jerusalem such as Sodom and Egypt which may confuse the issue to
some readers. Sometimes she is described as the mother and other times the
daughter of Babylon. Jesus made it clear in the scriptures above and below that
Jerusalem was responsible for the death and persecution of all prophets, wise
men, scribes and righteous people.
Matthew 23: 34. "Therefore, indeed, I send you prophets, wise men, and
scribes: some of them you will kill and crucify, and some of them you will scourge in your synagogues and persecute from city to city, 35.
"that on you may come all the righteous
blood shed on the earth, from the blood
of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah, son
of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the
temple and the altar. 36.
"Assuredly, I say to you, all these things will come upon this
generation. 37. "O Jerusalem,
Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets
and stones those who are sent to her! How often
I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under
her wings, but you were not willing! 38.
"See! Your house is left to you desolate;
39. "for I say to you, you shall
see Me no more till you say, `Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!'
''
Revelation 18:24 And in her
was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were
slain upon the earth.
Revelation 11:3. "And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two
hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.''
Revelation 11:7. Now when they finish their testimony, the
beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit will make war against them,
overcome them, and kill them. 8. And
their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which spiritually
is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
Lamentations
4:11. The Lord has fulfilled His fury,
He has poured out His fierce anger. He kindled a fire in Zion, and it has devoured its foundations. 12.
The kings of the earth, and all inhabitants of the world, would not have
believed that the adversary and the enemy could enter the gates of Jerusalem
13. Because of the sins of her
prophets and the iniquities of her priests, who shed in
her midst the blood of the just.
Jerusalem is the bloody city
Ezekiel 21:1. And the word of the Lord came to me,
saying, 2. "Son of man, set your face toward Jerusalem, preach against the holy places, and
prophesy against the land of Israel;
Ezekiel
22:1. Moreover the word of the Lord came
to me, saying,
2. "Now, son of man, will you judge, will
you judge the bloody city? Yes, show her all her
abominations!
3. "Then say, `Thus says the
Lord God: "The city sheds blood in her own midst, that her time may come; and she makes idols within herself to defile herself. 4.
"You have become guilty by the blood which
you have shed, and have defiled yourself with the idols which you
have made. You have caused your days to draw near, and have come to the end of
your years; therefore I have made you a reproach to the nations, and a mockery
to all countries.
The sickbed of
the bloody woman who must be purified seven days in reference to the seventy
years of judgment pronounced upon Jerusalem and its people.
Leviticus
15:19. `If a woman has a discharge, and the
discharge from her body is blood, she shall be set apart seven days; and
whoever touches her shall be unclean until evening. 20. `Everything
that she lies on during her impurity shall be unclean; also everything that she
sits on shall be unclean. 21. `Whoever
touches her bed shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and be unclean until evening. 22. `And whoever
touches anything that she sat on shall wash his clothes and bathe in water, and
be unclean until evening. 23. `If anything is on her bed or on anything on which she sits, when he
touches it, he shall be unclean until evening. 24. `And if any man lies with her at all, so that her impurity is on
him, he shall be unclean seven days; and every bed on which he lies shall be
unclean. 25. `If a woman has a
discharge of blood for many days, other than at the time of her
customary impurity, or if it runs beyond her usual time of impurity, all the
days of her unclean discharge shall be as the days of her customary impurity.
She shall be unclean. 26. `Every bed
on which she lies all the days of her discharge shall be to her as the bed of her impurity; and whatever she sits on shall be
unclean, as the uncleanness of her impurity. 27. `Whoever touches
those things shall be unclean; he shall wash his clothes and bathe in water,
and be unclean until evening. 28. `But if she is cleansed of her
discharge, then she shall count for herself seven days,
and after that she shall be clean.
The Hebrew
word used for Babylon is Babel, which is interpreted: confusion and is the same title of the city and tower
built by all the peoples of the world to try to ascend to the heights of God.
Genesis 11:1. Now the whole earth
had one language and one speech.
2. And it came to pass, as they
journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar, and
they dwelt there. 3. Then they said to one another, "Come,
let us make bricks and bake them thoroughly.'' They had brick for stone, and
they had asphalt for mortar. 4. And they said, "Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower
whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we
be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.'' 5. But
the Lord came down to see the city and the tower
which the sons of men had built. 6. And the Lord said, "Indeed the people
are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now
nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them. 7.
"Come, let Us go down and there confuse
their language, that they may not understand one another's
speech.'' 8. So the Lord scattered
them abroad from there over the face of all the earth, and they ceased building
the city. 9. Therefore its name is called Babel, because there the Lord confused the
language of all the earth; and from there the Lord scattered them abroad
over the face of all the earth.
The
earthly city of Jerusalem has been defiled by the Babylonians which came into
her bed of love and defiling them, hence we get the name Mystery Babylon or
secret Babylon.
Ezekiel
23:17. "Then the Babylonians came to her,
into the bed of love, and they defiled her with their harlotry; so she was polluted by them, and severed her mind from me.
18. She revealed her harlotry and
uncovered her nakedness. then I severed My mind from her, as I had severed my
mind from her sister.
Ezekiel
23:4. Their names: Oholah the elder and Oholibah
her sister; they were Mine, and they bore sons and daughters. As for their
names, Samaria is Oholah, and Jerusalem is Oholibah.
Ezekiel
23:11. "Now although her sister Oholibah saw
this, she became more corrupt in her inordinate
love than she, and in her harlotry more corrupt
than her sister's harlotry.
Ezekiel
23:44. "Yet they went in to her, as men go
in to a woman who plays the harlot; thus they went in to Oholah and Oholibah, the lewd women.
45. "But righteous men will judge them after the manner of adulteresses, and after the manner of women who shed blood, because they are adulteresses, and blood is on their hands.
Mystery Babylon practices the religion of Satan
Ezekiel
13:17. "Likewise, son of man, set
your face against the daughters of your people,
who prophesy out of their own heart; prophesy against them, 18.
"and say, `Thus says the Lord God: "Woe
to the women who sew magic charms on their sleeves and make veils for
the heads of people of every height to hunt souls!
Will you hunt the souls of My people, and keep
yourselves alive? 19. "And will you profane Me among My people
for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, killing
people who should not die, and keeping people alive who should not live,
by your lying to My people who listen to
lies?'' 20. `Therefore thus says the Lord God:
"Behold, I am against your magic charms by which you hunt souls there like birds.
I will tear them from your arms, and let the souls go, the souls you hunt like birds. 21. "I
will also tear off your veils and deliver My people out of your hand, and they
shall no longer be as prey in your hand. Then you shall know that I am the
Lord.'' 22. "Because with lies you have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom
I have not made sad; and you have strengthened
the hands of the wicked, so that he does not turn from his wicked way to
save his life. 23. "Therefore you shall no longer envision
futility nor practice divination; for I will deliver My people out of your
hand, and you shall know that I am the Lord.'' ' ''
Jeremiah
5:26. `For among
My people are found wicked men; they lie in wait as one who sets snares;
they set a trap; they catch
men. 27. As a cage is full of
birds, so their houses are full of deceit. Therefore they have become great and grown rich.
Today the
ancient city of Babylon is no mystery because it is easily located in the
country of Iraq. To understand who the mother of harlots is, one must
thoroughly study the Old Testament prophecies along with the book of Revelation
and perform word searches with a concordance. Many times God gives derogatory
nicknames to his own people who are called by his name and claim to follow the
one true God of Israel and or Jesus as we see in the world today but in their
heart and actions it is not so.
Isaiah 29:13. Therefore the Lord said: "Inasmuch as these people draw near to Me with their mouths and honor Me with their lips, but have removed their hearts far from Me, and their fear toward Me is taught by the commandment of men,
Ezekiel 33:31. "So they come to you as people do, they
sit before you as My people, and they hear your words, but they do
not do them; for with their mouth they
show much love, but their hearts pursue their own gain.
Matthew 15:7. "Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy
about you, saying:

`These people draw near to Me with their mouth,
and honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. 9. And
in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the
commandments of men.
Titus 1:15. To the pure all things are pure, but to those
who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and
conscience are defiled. 16. They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him,
being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work.
The gender of these names and large groups of people are usually
female, which is also indicated in the mother of harlots. Any group of people who are married to
the Lord God Almighty or divorced from him are in prophetical terms female. The
good wife spoken of in Proverbs 31 is spiritually the true
church of God. The opposite is spiritually a harlot or whore, which is a large
group of people who have been unfaithful to God and are divorced from him
through apostasy as they have followed after other gods and idols or they never
knew him at all.
Jeremiah 3:1. "They say, `If a man divorces his wife,
and she goes from him and becomes another man's, may he return to her again?'
Would not that land be greatly polluted? But you have
played the harlot with many lovers; yet
return to Me,'' says the Lord. 2. "Lift up your eyes to the desolate
heights and see: where have you not lain with men?
By the road you have sat for them like an Arabian in the wilderness; and you
have polluted the land with your harlotries and
your wickedness. 3:3...and you have a whores’ forehead, thou refuse to be ashamed.
Isaiah 1:21. How the faithful city
has become a harlot! It was full of justice;
righteousness lodged in it, but now murderers.
The entire chapter of Ezekiel 16
speaks to Jerusalem about her sins and is indicative of her
stature among all the harlots of the earth.
Ezekiel 16:1. Again the word of the Lord came to me,
saying, 2. "Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations.
Ezekiel 16:15. "But you trusted in your own beauty, played the harlot because of your fame, and poured out
your harlotry on everyone passing by who would
have it. 16. "You took some of your
garments and adorned multicolored high places for yourself, and played the harlot on them. Such things should not
happen, nor be. 17. "You have also taken your beautiful
jewelry from My gold and My silver, which I had given you, and made for
yourself male images and played the harlot with
them.
Ezekiel 16:20. "Moreover you took your sons and your
daughters, whom you bore to Me, and these you sacrificed to them to be
devoured. Were your acts of harlotry a small
matter, 21. "that you have slain My children and offered them up to them by
causing them to pass through the fire? 22.
"And in all your abominations and
acts of harlotry you did not remember the days
of your youth, when you were naked and bare, struggling in your blood.25. Thou hast built thy high place at every head of the way, and
hast made thy beauty to be abhorred, and hast opened
thy feet to everyone that passed by, and multiplied thy whoredoms. 26.
"You also committed harlotry with
the Egyptians, your very fleshly neighbors, and increased your acts of harlotry to provoke Me to anger.
Ezekiel 16:28.
"You also played the harlot with the
Assyrians, because you were insatiable; indeed you played the harlot with them and still were not satisfied. 29.
"Moreover you multiplied your acts of harlotry
as far as the land of the trader, Chaldea; and even then you were not
satisfied." 30. "How
degenerate is your heart!'' says the Lord God, "seeing you do all these
things, the deeds of a brazen harlot. 31.
"You erected your shrine at the head of every road, and built your
high place in every street. Yet you were not like a harlot,
because you scorned payment. 32. But as a wife that
commits adultery who takes strangers
instead of her husband! 33. "Men make payment to all harlots, but you made your payments to all your lovers, and hired them to come to you from all around
for your harlotry. 34.
"You are the opposite of other women
in your harlotry, because no one solicited you
to be a harlot. In that you gave payment but no
payment was given you, therefore you are the opposite.'' 35.
`Now then, O harlot, hear the word of the
Lord! 36. `Thus says the Lord God:
"Because your filthiness was poured out and your nakedness uncovered in
your harlotry with your lovers, and with all
your abominable idols, and because of the blood of your
children which you gave to them,
37. "surely, therefore, I
will gather all your lovers with whom you took
pleasure, all those you loved, and all those you hated; I will gather them from
all around against you and will uncover your nakedness to them, that they may
see all your nakedness.38. And I will judge thee as women that break wedlock and shed blood are judged: and I will give you blood in
fury and jealousy.
Ezekiel 16:41. "They shall burn your
houses with fire, and execute judgments on you in the sight of many women; and
I will make you cease playing the harlot, and
you shall no longer hire lovers.
Ezekiel 16: 46. And
thine elder sister is Samaria, she and her daughters that dwell at thy left
hand: and thy younger sister, that dwells at thy right hand, is Sodom and her daughters.47.
Yet hast thou not walked after their ways, nor done after their abominations: but as if that were a very little thing,
thou wast corrupted more than they in all thy ways.
Ezekiel
23:1. The word of the Lord came again to
me, saying: 2. "Son of man, there were two women, the
daughters of one mother. 3. They committed harlotry
in Egypt, they committed harlotry in their
youth; their breasts were there embraced, their virgin bosom was there
pressed. 4. Their names: Oholah the elder and Oholibah her sister; they were Mine, and they bore
sons and daughters. As for their names, Samaria is Oholah, and Jerusalem is Oholibah.
Jeremiah
13:26. Therefore I will uncover your skirts over your face, that your shame
may appear. 27. I have seen your adulteries
and your lustful neighings, the lewdness of your harlotry,
your abominations on the hills in the fields. Woe to you, O Jerusalem!
Will you still not be made clean?''
Mount
Moriah in Jerusalem was previously a threshingfloor for grain.
Isaiah 21:9. And look, here comes a chariot of men with a
pair of horsemen!'' and he answered and said, "Babylon
is fallen, is fallen!
And all the carved images of her gods he has
broken to the ground.'' 10. Oh, my threshing
and the grain of my floor! That which I have
heard from the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, I have declared to you.
Jeremiah
51:33. For thus saith the Lord of hosts,
the God of Israel; The daughter of Babylon is like a threshingfloor,
it is time to thresh her: yet a little while,
and the time of her harvest shall come.

Chronicles 3:1. Then Solomon began to
build the house of the Lord at Jerusalem in mount Moriah, where the Lord appeared unto David his
father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshingfloor
of Ornan the Jebusite.

Chronicles 21:15. And God sent an angel
unto Jerusalem to destroy it: and as he was
destroying, the Lord beheld, and he repented him of the evil, and said to the
angel that destroyed, It is enough, stay now thine hand. And the angel of the
Lord stood by the threshingfloor of Ornan the
Jebusite.
Isaiah 47:1. "Come down and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon; sit on the ground without
a throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans! For you shall no more be called tender and delicate.
2. Take the millstones and grind
meal. Remove your veil, take off the skirt, uncover the thigh, pass through the
rivers. 3. Your nakedness shall
be uncovered, yes, your shame will be seen; I will take vengeance, and I
will not arbitrate with a man.'' 4. As for our Redeemer, the Lord of hosts is His
name, the Holy One of Israel. 5. "Sit in silence, and go into darkness, O
daughter of the Chaldeans; for you shall no longer be called the Lady of Kingdoms.
Deuteronomy 28:56. "The tender and
delicate woman among you, who would not venture to set the sole of her
foot on the ground because of her delicateness and sensitivity, will refuse to
the husband of her bosom, and to her son and her daughter, 57.
"her placenta which comes out from between her feet, and her
children whom she bears; for she will eat them secretly for lack of all things
in the siege and desperate straits in which your enemy shall distress you at
all your gates.
Jeremiah 2:28. But where are your gods that you have made
for yourselves? Let them arise, if they can save you in the time of your
trouble; for according to the number of your cities are
your gods, O Judah. 29. "Why will you plead with Me? You all
have transgressed against Me,'' says the Lord.
30. "In vain I have
chastened your children; they received no correction. Your
sword has devoured your prophets like a
destroying lion.
Jeremiah 2:34. Also on your skirts
is found the blood of the lives of the poor innocents. I have not found
it by secret search, but plainly on all these things.
The words desolate or desolation describe Babylon and Jerusalem.
Leviticus
26: 31. I will lay your cities
waste and bring your sanctuaries to desolation, and I will not smell the fragrance of your
sweet aromas. 32. I will bring the land to desolation, and
your enemies who dwell in it shall be astonished
at it. 33. I will scatter you among the nations and draw
out a sword after you; your land shall be desolate
and your cities waste. 34.
Then the land shall enjoy its sabbaths as
long as it lies desolate and you are in your
enemies' land; then the land shall rest and enjoy its sabbaths. 35. As
long as it lies desolate it shall rest for the
time it did not rest on your sabbaths when you dwelt in it.
Isaiah 1:1. The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which
he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem in the
days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah. 2.
Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth! For the Lord has spoken: "I
have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against Me; 3.
Lift up Your feet to the perpetual desolations.
The enemy has damaged everything in the sanctuary.
Isaiah 17:9. In that day his strong cities will be as a
forsaken bough and an uppermost branch, which they left because of the children
of Israel; and there will be desolation. 10.
Because you have forgotten the God of your
salvation, and have not been mindful of the Rock
of your stronghold, therefore you will plant pleasant plants and set out
foreign seedlings;
Isaiah 51:17. Awake, awake! Stand up, O Jerusalem, you who have drunk at the hand of the Lord
the cup of His fury; you have drunk the dregs of the cup of trembling, and
drained it out. 18. There is no one to guide her among all the
sons she has brought forth; nor is there any who takes her by the hand among
all the sons she has brought up.
19. These two things have come to
you; who will be sorry for you? Desolation and
destruction, famine and sword by whom will I comfort you?
Isaiah 64:10. Your holy cities are a wilderness, Zion is a
wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation.
Jeremiah 6:8. Be instructed, O Jerusalem,
lest My soul depart from you; lest I make you desolate,
a land not inhabited.'' 9. Thus says the Lord of hosts: "They shall
thoroughly glean as a vine the remnant of Israel; as a grape-gatherer, put your
hand back into the branches.''
Jeremiah
51:41. "Oh, how Sheshach is taken!
Oh, how the praise of the whole earth is seized!
How Babylon has become desolate
among the nations! 42. The sea has come up over Babylon; she is covered with the multitude of its
waves. 43. Her cities are
a desolation, a dry land and a wilderness, a
land where no one dwells, through which no son of man passes. 44. I
will punish Bel in Babylon, and I will bring out
of his mouth what he has swallowed; and the nations shall not stream to him
anymore. Yes, the wall of Babylon shall fall. 45.
"My people, go out of the midst of her!
And let everyone deliver himself from the fierce anger of the Lord.
Jeremiah 51:49. As Babylon has caused
the slain of Israel to fall, so at Babylon
the slain of all the earth shall fall.
50. You who have escaped the
sword, get away! Do not stand still! Remember the Lord afar off, and let Jerusalem come to your mind. 51.
We are ashamed because we have heard reproach. Shame has covered our
faces, for strangers have come into the sanctuaries of the Lord's house. 52.
"Therefore behold, the days are coming,'' says the Lord, "That
I will bring judgment on her carved images, and throughout all her land the
wounded shall groan. 53. Though Babylon were to
mount up to heaven, and though she were to fortify the height of her
strength, yet from Me plunderers would come to her,'' says the Lord.
Jeremiah 51:58. Thus says the Lord of hosts: "The broad walls of Babylon shall be utterly broken, and
her high gates shall be burned with fire; the people will labor in vain, and
the nations, because of the fire; and they shall be weary.''
Ezekiel 8:15. Then He said to me, "Have you seen this,
O son of man? Turn again, you will see greater abominations
than these.'' 16. So He brought me into the inner court of the Lord's house; and there, at the
door of the temple of the Lord, between the porch and the altar, were about twenty-five men with their backs toward the temple of
the Lord and their faces toward the east, and they were worshiping the sun toward the east. 17.
Then He said to me, "Have you seen this, O son of man? Is it a
trivial thing to the house of Judah to commit
the abominations which they commit here? For
they have filled the land with violence; then they have returned to provoke Me
to anger. Indeed they put the branch to their nose. 18.
"Therefore I also will act in fury. My eye will not spare nor will
I have pity; and though they cry in My ears with a loud voice, I will not hear
them.''
Jeremiah 10:22. Behold, the noise of the report has come, and
a great commotion out of the north country, to make the cities of Judah desolate, a den of jackals.
Jeremiah 18:15. "Because My
people have forgotten Me, they have burned incense to worthless idols. And they have caused themselves to stumble in
their ways, from the ancient paths, to walk in pathways and not on a highway,
16. to
make their land desolate and a perpetual hissing; everyone who passes by it will be astonished
and shake his head.
Jeremiah 19:7. "And I will make void the counsel of
Judah and Jerusalem in this place, and I will
cause them to fall by the sword before their enemies and by the hands of those
who seek their lives; their corpses I will give as meat
for the birds of the heaven and for the beasts of the earth. 8.
"I will make this city desolate and
a hissing; everyone who passes by it will be astonished and hiss because of all its plagues.
Jeremiah 50:13. Because of the wrath of the Lord she shall
not be inhabited, but she shall be wholly desolate.
Everyone who goes by Babylon shall be horrified
and hiss at all her plagues. 14.
"Put yourselves in array against Babylon all around, all you who
bend the bow; shoot at her, spare no arrows, for she has sinned against the
Lord.
Ezekiel 9:3. Now the glory of the God of Israel had gone
up from the cherub, where it had been, to the threshold of the temple. And He
called to the man clothed with linen, who had the writer's inkhorn at his side; 4. and
the Lord said to him, "Go through the midst of the city, through the midst
of Jerusalem, and put a mark
on the foreheads of the men who sigh and cry over all the abominations that are done within it.'' 5. To
the others He said in my hearing, "Go after him through
the city and kill; do not let your eye spare, nor have any pity.
6.
"Utterly slay old and young men, maidens and little children and women; but
do not come near anyone on whom is the mark; and begin at My sanctuary.'' So they began with the elders who were
before the temple.
Jeremiah 7:30. "For the children of Judah have done evil in My sight,'' says the Lord.
"They have set their abominations in the house which is called by My name, to pollute it. 31.
"And they have built the high places of Tophet, which is in the
Valley of the Son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the
fire, which I did not command, nor did it come into My heart. 32.
"Therefore behold, the days are coming,'' says the Lord, "when
it will no more be called Tophet, or the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, but the
Valley of Slaughter; for they will bury in Tophet until there is no room. 33.
"The corpses of this people will be food
for the birds of the heaven and for the beasts of the earth. And no one
will frighten them away.
Revelation 19:17. Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and
he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds
that fly in the midst of heaven, "Come and gather
together for the supper of the great God, 18.
"that you may eat the flesh of kings, the
flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those
who sit on them, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, both small and
great.''
Jeremiah 7:34. "Then I will cause
to cease from the cities of Judah and from the streets of Jerusalem the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the
voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride. For the land shall
be desolate.
Revelation 18:21. Then a mighty angel took up a stone like a
great millstone and threw it into the sea,
saying, "Thus with violence the great city Babylon shall be thrown down, and shall not be found
anymore. 22. "The sound of harpists, musicians, flutists,
and trumpeters shall not be heard in you anymore. And no craftsman of any craft
shall be found in you anymore. And the sound of a millstone shall not be heard
in you anymore. 23. "And the light of a lamp shall not shine
in you anymore. And the voice of bridegroom and bride
shall not be heard in you anymore. For your merchants were the great men
of the earth, for by your sorcery all the nations were deceived. 24.
"And in her
was found the blood of prophets and saints, and
of all who were slain on the earth.''
Mother of
the abominations of the earth
1 Kings 23:24. Moreover Josiah put away those who consulted
mediums and spiritists, the household gods and idols, all the abominations that were seen in the land of Judah and in Jerusalem, that he
might perform the words of the law which were written in the book that Hilkiah
the priest found in the house of the Lord.
2 Kings 23:13. Then the king defiled the high places that were east of Jerusalem,
which were on the south of the Mount of Corruption, which Solomon king of Israel had built for Ashtoreth the abomination of the Sidonians, for Chemosh the abomination of the Moabites, and for Milcom the abomination of the
people of Ammon.
Ezekiel 5:5 Thus saith the Lord God: This
is Jerusalem: I have set it in the midst of the
nations and countries that are round about her.
6.And she
hath changed my judgments into wickedness more than the nations, and my statutes more than the countries that are round
about her; for they have
refused my judgments and my statutes, they have not walked in them...9. And I will do in thee that which
I have not done, and whereunto I will not do any more the like, because of all thine abominations.
When King
Solomon began to worship and bow to all the gods of his wives, it set in order
all the curses and judgments pronounced upon Gods’ people in the sometimes
prophetical book of Deuteronomy, which is necessary to read when studying the
Anti-Christ, Jerusalem, and Babylon.
Nearly the
entire book of Lamentations was written about Jerusalem.
Lamentations 1:1. How lonely sits the city
that was full of people! How like a widow is she, Who was great among the
nations! The princess among the provinces has become a slave! 2. She
weeps bitterly in the night, her tears are on her cheeks; among all her lovers she has none to comfort her. All her friends
have dealt treacherously with her; they have become her enemies. 3. Judah has gone into captivity, under
affliction and hard servitude; she dwells among the
nations, she finds no rest; all her persecutors overtake her in dire
straits.
Lamentations 1:8. Jerusalem has
sinned grievously, therefore she has become vile. All who honored her despise
her because they have seen her nakedness; yes, she sighs and turns away. 9. Her
uncleanness is in her skirts; she did not consider her destiny; therefore her
collapse was awesome; she had no comforter.
"O Lord, behold my affliction, for the enemy has magnified himself!''
1 Corinthians 6:16 What? Know ye not that he
which is joined to a harlot is one body?
The
abomination of desolation has not occurred yet in Jerusalem so do not read the commentaries
when reading the book of Daniel. Sacrificing a pig is not the worst abomination
but the antichrist sitting in the temple claiming to be God.
Matthew 24: 15. "Therefore when you see the `abomination of desolation,' spoken of by Daniel the
prophet, standing in the holy place'' (whoever reads, let him understand),
16. "then let
those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
2 Thessalonians 2:1. Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our
Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, 2. not
to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by
letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. 3. Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not
come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the
son of perdition, 4. who opposes and exalts himself above all that
is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of
God, showing himself that he is God.
Luke 21:20. "But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near.
21. "Then let those in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who
are in the midst of her depart, and let not
those who are in the country enter her.
22. "For these are the days
of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
Most of Israel will think this is the Messiah but
those who know God and scripture will flee to the mountains.
Isaiah
4:2. In that day the Branch of the Lord
shall be beautiful and glorious; and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent
and appealing for those of Israel who have escaped. 3. And it shall
come to pass that he who is left in Zion and he who
remains in Jerusalem will be called holy everyone who is recorded among the
living in Jerusalem. 4. When the Lord has washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and
purged the blood of Jerusalem from her midst, by the spirit of judgment and by
the spirit of burning,
Isaiah
37:31. And the remnant who have escaped of
the house of Judah shall again take root downward, and bear fruit upward.
32. For out of Jerusalem shall go a remnant, and
those who escape from Mount Zion. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do
this.
Those who survive the time of great tribulation are those
who flee from Jerusalem when the antichrist is come into full power.

Thessalonians 4:15. For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will
by no means precede those who are asleep. 16. For the Lord Himself
will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with
the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17.
Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught
up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we
shall always be with the Lord.
Zechariah
14:2. For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem; the city shall be taken, the houses rifled,
and the women ravished. Half of the city shall go into captivity, but the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
3. Then the Lord will go forth and fight against those
nations, as He fights in the day of battle. 4. And in that day His
feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which faces Jerusalem on the east. And
the Mount of Olives shall be split in two, from
east to west, making a very large valley; half
of the mountain shall move toward the north and half of it toward the
south. 5. Then you shall flee through My
mountain valley, for the mountain valley shall reach to Azal. Yes, you
shall flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah.
Thus the Lord my God will come, and all the saints with
You.
The thing
that confuses most Bible scholars is that there are many prophecies which
promise that Jerusalem shall be saved and inhabited by the Lords’ people. New Jerusalem, described in
the book of Revelation is the city being referred to in the future.
Hebrews 13:
14. For here we have no continuing city, but we
seek one to come.
Galatians 4:26. But Jerusalem
which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
Hebrews 12:22. But ye are come unto mount
Sion, and unto the city of the living God,
the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable
company of angels, 23. To the general
assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written
in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
Revelation 3:12. "He who overcomes, I will make him a
pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. And I will write
on him the name of My God and the name of the city of
My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God.
And I will write on him My new name.
Revelation 21:1. And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for
the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more
sea. 2.
Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem,
coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her
husband.
Revelation 21:10. And he carried me away in the Spirit to a
great and high mountain, and showed me the great city,
the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from
God,
One scheme used by Mystery Babylon leaders is to bring back Jews to Israel in order to establish the anti-Christ kingdom here on earth, claiming that it is scripturally the
will of God the Father. The true promise of God is to bring
back Israel to their homeland after
they acknowledge their sin, repent, and worship the Almighty God of
Heaven through Jesus,
the Savior of the world. This final complete
unification will not and cannot happen until the time of great tribulation is
completed and Jesus returns. To those who believe that Israel can be united by re-instituting the Mosaic Law without true repentance and the faith in Jesus as
Messiah, it is a trap which shall cause you
to worship the beast, a false messiah who
shall lead you into the Lake of Fire. Many
self proclaimed Christian leaders promote this event and are therefore part of
this one world movement which is secretly Mystery
Babylon.
Jerusalem
shall be punished double in time of great tribulation
Jeremiah 16:18 "And first I will repay double for their iniquity and their sin, because they
have defiled My land; they have filled My inheritance with the carcasses of
their detestable and abominable idols.''
Revelation 18:6 Reward her even as she rewarded
you, and double unto
her double according to her works: in the cup
which she hath filled, fill to her double.
Ezekiel 16: 2. "Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations,
Ezekiel 16:23 And it came to pass after all
thy wickedness, woe, woe
unto thee! Saith the Lord God
Revelation 8:13 And I beheld, and heard an
angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth...Two
of these woes are designated for apostate Jerusalem and Judah.
Ezekiel 24: 6.
`Therefore thus says the Lord God: "Woe to
the bloody city, to the pot whose scum is in it, and whose scum is not
gone from it! Bring it out piece by piece, on which no lot has fallen.
Ezekiel 24: 9.
`Therefore thus says the Lord God: "Woe to
the bloody city! I too will make the pyre great. (double)
Jeremiah 13:27 I have seen thine adulteries and thy neighings, the lewdness of thy whoredom, and thine abominations on the hill in the
fields. Woe unto thee, O Jerusalem! Wilt thou not be made clean?
Matthew
23:37. "O Jerusalem,
Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets
and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your
children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were
not willing!
38. "See! Your house is left to you desolate; 39.
"for I say to you, you shall see Me no more till you say, `Blessed
is He who comes in the name of the Lord!' ''
Revelation
18:1. After these things I saw another
angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was
illuminated with his glory. 2. And he cried mightily with a loud voice,
saying, "Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen,
and has become a habitation of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a
cage for every unclean and hated bird!
I believe
that I have established that Mystery Babylon is apostate Jerusalem and
Judah, more
commonly known today as Zionism, those who do not worship the Most High God of
heaven. This not only applies geographically but also by
bloodline and spirituality, regardless of where the descendants, followers, and
allies dwell. This religion of Mystery Babylon has secretly overspread much of
the world, and continues to gain steam at an alarmingly rapid state because of its
web like tentacles and stealthy operation. All the nations drink of the cup of
Mystery Babylon’s false doctrines.
Jeremiah 51:6. Flee from the midst of Babylon, and every one
save his life! Do not be cut off in her iniquity, for this is the time of the
Lord's vengeance; He shall recompense her.
7. Babylon
was a golden cup in the Lord's hand, that made all the
earth drunk. The nations drank her wine;
therefore the nations are deranged.
Jeremiah 13:13. "Then you shall say to them, `Thus says
the Lord: "Behold, I will fill all the inhabitants of this land even the
kings who sit on David's throne, the priests, the prophets, and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem with drunkenness!
Isaiah 29:9. Pause and wonder! Blind yourselves and be
blind! They are drunk, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with intoxicating drink. 10.
For the Lord has poured out on you the spirit of
deep sleep, and has closed your eyes, namely, the prophets; and He has
covered your heads, namely, the seers.
11. The whole vision has become
to you like the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one who is
literate, saying, "Read this, please''; and he says, "I cannot, for
it is sealed.'' 12. Then the book is delivered to one who is
illiterate, saying, "Read this, please''; and he says, "I am not
literate.'' 13. Therefore the Lord said: "Inasmuch as these people draw near to Me with their mouths and honor Me
with their lips, but have removed their hearts far from Me, and their fear
toward Me is taught by the commandment of men,
One must
understand that there are two different bloodlines of Jew: evil harlot serpent seed
and pure seed of the woman Eve. The pure blood seed of the woman is being and
has been hunted and murdered by this wicked bastard race and its allies who are
led by the powerful wicked dragon. It all goes back to Genesis with the seed of
the serpent and the seed of Adam’s son Seth whose blood line eventually
descends to Jesus, the final king of the Jews of the seed of David. Apostate
Jerusalem known as Mystery Babylon is Satan’s people. The war between good and
evil began in Genesis and ends in Revelation.
Genesis 3:15. And I will put enmity
between you (serpent) and the
woman, and between your seed and her Seed;
He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.''
Revelation 12:1. Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her
feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars.
2. Then
being with child, she cried out in labor and in
pain to give birth.
Revelation 12:3. And another sign appeared in heaven: behold,
a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and
ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads.
4. His tail drew a third of the
stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon
stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born. 5. And
she bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with
a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and to His throne.
Revelation 12:13. Now when the dragon saw
that he had been cast to the earth, he persecuted the
woman who gave birth to the male Child.
Revelation 12:17. And the dragon was
enraged with the woman, and he went to make war
with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the
testimony of Jesus Christ.
Matthew 23:29. Woe unto you, scribes
and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the
tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres
of the righteous, 30. And say, If
we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with
them in the blood of the prophets. 31. Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves,
that ye are the children of them which killed the
prophets. 32. Fill ye up then the
measure of your fathers. 33. You serpents, you offspring of vipers, how can ye escape
the damnation of hell? 34. Wherefore,
behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and
scribes: and some of them you shall kill and
crucify; and some of them shall you scourge in your synagogues, and
persecute them from city to city.
Revelation
17 explains that the whore sits upon many waters
which are peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues.
Revelation 17:1. Then one of the seven angels who had the
seven bowls came and talked with me, saying to me, "Come, I will show you
the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many
waters, 2. "with whom the kings of the earth
committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with
the wine of her fornication.''
Revelation 17:15. And he said to me, "The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples,
multitudes, nations, and tongues.
She
believes herself to be the bride of God, yet she does not know that she is the
bride of Satan.
Revelation 18:7. "In the measure that she glorified
herself and lived luxuriously, in the same measure give her torment and sorrow;
for she says in her heart, `I sit as queen, and am no
widow, and will not see sorrow.'
The false pretribulation
rapture doctrine comes to mind when I read the above verse.
Revelation 17:3. So he carried me away in the Spirit into the
wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet
beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten
horns.

Revelation 17:7. But the angel said to me, "Why did you
marvel? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has
the seven heads and the ten horns.
Many of the people of
Jewish heritage are living in these countries and have a great influence upon
all business and trade throughout the world. Apostate Judah and the secret societies whom together rule the fleshly world share
the same highly regarded symbol
of the beast, the six-pointed
star of Remphan also known as the seal of Solomon. These are the evil offspring of the serpent whom
Jesus spoke to and condemned 2000 years ago when he called out the Pharisees, scribes,
and elders of this
false religious system which ruled over Jerusalem. Mystery
Babylon is the serpent seed offspring and tares of their father Satan who is
known as the devil, serpent, and dragon.
Jeremiah 31:27. Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I
will sow the house of
Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man, and with the seed
of beast.
Daniel 2:43. "As you saw iron mixed with ceramic
clay, they will
mingle with the seed of men; but they
will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay.
This serpent seed exists in all races but
apostate Judah is most abominable to God because they were the rulers of
Jerusalem and Israel.
The serpent seed has infiltrated the seed of Abraham.
John 8:33. They answered Him, "We are Abraham's descendants, and have never been in
bondage to anyone. How can you say, `You will be made free'?'' 34.
Jesus answered them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits
sin is a slave of sin. 35. "And a slave does not abide in the house
forever, but a son abides forever.
36. "Therefore if the Son
makes you free, you shall be free indeed.
37. "I
know that you are Abraham's descendants, but you seek to kill Me,
because My word has no place in you. 38.
"I speak what I have seen with My Father,
and you do what you have seen with your father.'' 39.
They answered and said to Him, "Abraham is
our father.'' Jesus said to them, "If you were Abraham's children,
you would do the works of Abraham.
40. "But now you seek to
kill Me, a Man who has told you the truth which I heard from God. Abraham did
not do this. 41. "You do the
deeds of your father.'' Then they said to Him, "We were not born of
fornication; we have one Father God.''
42. Jesus said to them, "If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I
proceeded forth and came from God; nor have I come of Myself, but He sent
Me. 43.
"Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to
listen to My word. 44. "You are of your
father the devil, and the desires of your father
you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the
truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from
his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.
John 8:52. Then the Jews
said to Him, "Now we know that You have a demon! Abraham is dead, and the
prophets; and You say, `If anyone keeps My word he shall never taste
death.' 53. "Are You greater than our father Abraham, who is dead? And the prophets are
dead. Whom do You make Yourself out to be?''
54. Jesus answered, "If I
honor Myself, My honor is nothing. It is My Father who honors Me, of whom you
say that He is your God. 55. "Yet you have not known Him, but I know
Him. And if I say, `I do not know Him,' I shall be a liar like you; but I do
know Him and keep His word. 56. "Your father
Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.'' 57.
Then the Jews said to Him, "You are
not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?'' 58.
Jesus said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.''
Revelation 2:8. And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna
write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;
9. I know thy works, and tribulation,
and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
Jeremiah 11:6. Then the Lord said unto me, Proclaim all
these words in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying, Hear ye the words of this covenant,
and do them. 7. For I earnestly
protested unto your fathers in the day that I brought them up out of the land
of Egypt, even unto this day, rising early and protesting, saying, Obey my
voice. 8. Yet they obeyed not, nor
inclined their ear, but walked every one in the imagination of their evil
heart: therefore I will bring upon them all the words of this covenant, which I
commanded them to do: but they did them not. 9.
And the Lord said unto me, A conspiracy
is found among the men of Judah, and among the inhabitants
of Jerusalem. 10. They are turned
back to the iniquities of their forefathers, which refused to hear my words;
and they went after other gods to serve them:
the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant which I made
with their fathers. 11. Therefore thus
saith the Lord, Behold, I will bring evil upon them, which they shall not be
able to escape; and though they shall cry unto me, I will not hearken unto
them. 12. Then shall the cities of Judah
and inhabitants of Jerusalem go, and cry unto the
gods unto whom they offer incense: but they
shall not save them at all in the time of their trouble. 13. For according to the
number of thy cities were thy gods, O Judah; and according to the number
of the streets of Jerusalem have ye set up
altars to that shameful thing, even altars to burn incense unto Baal.
One
technique that Satan is using to lead the imprudent astray is
to offer true doctrine mixed with false. This is how the many denominations
have sprung up as each focuses
on a different small portion
of true scripture. If you find your church teaching a false doctrine, you move to
another which teaches what you are looking for at the time and eventually
realize they are teaching another set of lies to poison you and distract away
from the truth. Another is of course to preach smooth things which
are appealing and comforting which leads to a false sense of
security, peace, and prosperity. The orthodox and conservative Christian church
is not immune to this disease which supposed great teachers of the modern day
encourage and support. Some of the terms used in this blasphemous doctrine are Ecumenical, Emerging, purpose driven, and Unity. To allow oneself to be aligned with those who condone this
teaching is to deny the Lord Jesus who is the only name by which one may be
saved.
Many feel
that the seven mountains refer to Rome but is explained in scripture as
powerful evil spirits. The 7
mountains are 7 powerful wicked spirits indwelling 7 human kings and
are explained in the book of Revelation and in the Old Testament.
Revelation
17: 9 And here is the mind which hath
wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on
which the woman sits. 10.
And there are seven kings (humans
indwelt): five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and
when he comes, he must continue a short space.
In the book of Matthew Jesus interprets the word mountain to be a very
strong evil spirit.
Matthew 17:18. And Jesus rebuked the
devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that
very hour. 19. Then came the disciples
to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out? 20. And Jesus said unto them, Because of your
unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard
seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove
hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible
unto you.21. Howbeit this kind (spirit) goes not out but by
prayer and fasting.
In conclusion it is clear that at its core Mystery Babylon is
Jerusalem and its apostate leaders wherever they may dwell and its doctrine is
Apostasy from the pure Word. Whoever and whatever church that claims to know
the God of the Bible and practices and teaches false doctrine are members of
Mystery Babylon as the daughters of the children of Apostasy. The Lord holds
apostate Jerusalem and all its children accountable for this great apostasy
which began when King Solomon lead them astray and brought nearly every curse
in Deuteronomy upon them, while his false doctrines are greatly practiced still
in the large majority of the church today.
Hear the call of the Lord now. Come out of Babylon so you may be
accounted worthy to stand with the Lord at the end of this age.
