The Evil Trinity in the Holy Bible

The Evil Trinity of Apollyon Lucifer and Wormwood

The Bible describes three different, distinct, powerful supernatural evil spiritual beings that oppose God and his chosen people. Most Biblical analysts and writers of commentaries attempt to classify all the different names given for these beings to be one distinct individual which he was at one time and shall be again for a brief time in the future as the unholy spirit of seven heads combined with the four who come out of the Euphrates. They are one in that they are all united for the same purpose, to destroy those called by the Lord to inherit his kingdom. To uncover the identities of these three fallen, evil and powerful beings, we must go to the Word of God to discover the differences in their personalities, descriptions, and evil assignments which they perform on the earth. It is difficult to separate and distinguish each individual because their characteristics of evil are overlapping so please forgive any mistakes which God will correct in time. I do battle on a daily basis through the power of the Holy Spirit with some of these beasts so I learn as much about my opponent as possible. No it is not easy to study or ponder evil but very necessary in the last days. I have heard people say that they do not read the book of Revelation because it is too scary. I suspect those people are not truly born again of the Holy Spirit or they are Satan’s children living beside us as tares. Many blessings are available to those who read and understand the book of Revelation while guarding those things written therein.

Revelation 1:1.  The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John,  2.  who bore witness to the Word of God, and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, and to all things that he saw.  3.  Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.

The three most powerful demonic forces indwell the Antichrist, false prophet, and the image of the beast.

Revelation 16:13-14 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs (green reptiles) come out of the mouth of the dragon, (image of the beast) and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

By this scripture we can deduce that there are three separate, powerful, evil spiritual creations that resemble reptiles. When searching the internet you will find an abundance of information or disinformation about a supposed alien race which they call “reptilians” or “grays.” The thing with disinformation is that there is always some truth to the matter and then there is the deception and foolishness added in to make believers of this doctrine look like a fool or mislead the prudent away from learning the scriptures about tares and the serpent seed which dwells in all nations and races. The Bible will tell you the pure Truth 100% of the time. The dragon/serpent is a spiritual reptile with great intelligence and power.

Revelation 12:3.  And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. 4.  And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

Lucifer the Cherub Beast known as Heylel in Scripture

Revelation 8:8.  And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; 9.  And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.

Who or what is this great mountain burning with fire?

Jeremiah 51:25.  Behold, I am against thee, O destroying mountain, says the Lord, who destroys all the earth: and I will stretch out mine hand upon you, and roll you down from the rocks, and will make you a burnt mountain.

Isaiah 14:3.  It shall come to pass in the day the Lord gives you rest from your sorrow, and from your fear and the hard bondage in which you were made to serve,  4.  that you will take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say: "How the oppressor has ceased, the golden city ceased!  5.  The Lord has broken the staff of the wicked, the scepter of the rulers;  6.  He who struck the people in wrath with a continual stroke, he who ruled the nations in anger, is persecuted and no one hinders.
Isaiah 14: 11.  Your pomp is brought down to Sheol, and the sound of your stringed instruments; the maggot is spread under you, and worms cover you.'  12.  "How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, (Heylel) son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations!  13.  For you have said in your heart: `I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest sides of the north;  14.  I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.'  15.  Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, to the lowest depths of the Pit.

Ezekiel 28:12.  Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, thus says the Lord God; You seal up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. 13.  Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the Beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. 14.  Thou art the anointed cherub that covers; and I have set thee so: you were upon the holy mountain of God; you have walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. 15 You were perfect in your ways from the day that thou were created, till iniquity was found in you. 16.  By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of you with violence, and you have sinned: therefore I will cast you as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy you O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

A covering cherub is one of two four winged angels that covered the mercy seat or lid of  the sacred ark which is the proximity from where the Lord Jahuvah speaks the Word of God. The height of each is 10 cubits (approx. 15 ft.) and the wings are 5 cubits (approx. 7.5 ft.)

Exodus 25:20.  "And the cherubim shall stretch out their wings above, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and they shall face one another; the faces of the cherubim shall be toward the mercy seat.  21.  "You shall put the mercy seat on top of the ark, and in the ark you shall put the Testimony that I will give you.  22.  "And there I will meet with you, and I will speak with you from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim which are on the ark of the Testimony, of all things which I will give you in commandment to the children of Israel.

Numbers 7:89.  Now when Moses went into the tabernacle of meeting to speak with Him, he heard the voice of One speaking to him from above the mercy seat that was on the ark of the Testimony, from between the two cherubim; thus He spoke to him.

Ezekiel 28:17.  Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee. 18.  Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee. 19.  All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.

Ezekiel 1:4.  Then I looked, and behold, a whirlwind was coming out of the north, a great cloud with raging fire engulfing itself; and brightness was all around it and radiating out of its midst like the color of amber, out of the midst of the fire. 5.  Also from within it came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance: they had the likeness of a man.  6.  Each one had four faces, and each one had four wings.  7.  Their legs were straight, and the soles of their feet were like the soles of calves' feet. They sparkled like the color of burnished bronze.  8.  They had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides; and each of the four had faces and wings.  9.  Their wings touched one another. The creatures did not turn when they went, but each one went straight forward.  10.  As for the likeness of their faces, each had the face of a man, each of the four had the face of a lion on the right side, each of the four had the face of an ox on the left side, and each of the four had the face of an eagle.  11.  Thus were their faces. Their wings were stretched upward; two wings of each one touched one another, and two covered their bodies.  12.  And each one went straight forward; they went wherever the spirit wanted to go, and they did not turn when they went.  13.  As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, and like the appearance of torches. Fire was going back and forth among the living creatures; the fire was bright, and out of the fire went lightning. 14.  And the living creatures ran back and forth, in appearance like a flash of lightning.

Luke 10:18.  And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

Job 1:6.  Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them.  7.  And the Lord said to Satan, "From where do you come?'' So Satan answered the Lord and said, "From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it.''  8.  Then the Lord said to Satan, "Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?''  9.  So Satan answered the Lord and said, "Does Job fear God for nothing?  10.  "Have You not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land.  11.  "But now, stretch out Your hand and touch all that he has, and he will surely curse You to Your face!''  12.  So the Lord said to Satan, "Behold, all that he has is in your power; only do not lay a hand on his person.'' Then Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.

Revelation 12:9.  So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.  10.  Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, "Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.

Job 39:5.  "Who set the wild donkey free? Who loosed the bonds of the onager,  6.  Whose home I have made the wilderness, And the barren land his dwelling?  7.  he scorns the tumult of the city; he does not heed the shouts of the driver.  8.  The range of the mountains is his pasture, and he searches after every green thing.  9.  "Will the wild ox be willing to serve you? Will he bed by your manger?  10.  Can you bind the wild ox in the furrow with ropes? Or will he plow the valleys behind you?  11.  Will you trust him because his strength is great? Or will you leave your labor to him?  12.  Will you trust him to bring home your grain, and gather it to your threshing floor?  13.  "The wings of the ostrich wave proudly, but are her wings and pinions like the kindly stork's?  14.  For she leaves her eggs on the ground, and warms them in the dust;  15.  she forgets that a foot may crush them, or that a wild beast may break them.  16.  She treats her young harshly, as though they were not hers; her labor is in vain, without concern,  17.  because God deprived her of wisdom, and did not endow her with understanding.  18.  When she lifts herself on high, she scorns the horse and its rider.  19.  "Have you given the horse strength? Have you clothed his neck with thunder?  20.  Can you frighten him like a locust? His majestic snorting strikes terror.  21.  He paws in the valley, and rejoices in his strength; he gallops into the clash of arms.  22.  He mocks at fear, and is not frightened; nor does he turn back from the sword.  23.  The quiver rattles against him, the glittering spear and javelin.  24.  He devours the distance with fierceness and rage; nor does he stand firm, because the trumpet has sounded.  25.  At the blast of the trumpet he says, `Aha!' He smells the battle from afar, the thunder of captains and shouting.  26.  "Does the hawk fly by your wisdom, and spread its wings toward the south?  27.  Does the eagle mount up at your command, and make its nest on high?  28.  It dwells on the rock, and resides on the crag of the rock and the stronghold.  29.  From there it spies out the prey; its eyes observe from afar.  30.  Its offspring suck up blood; and where the slain are, there it is.''

Wormwood the False Prophet

Revelation 8:10.  And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; 11.  And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood (la’anah in Hebrew); and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

Revelation 13:11.  And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke as a dragon. 12.  And he exercises all the power of the first beast before him, and causes the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13.  And he does great wonders, so that he makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, 14.  And deceives them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. 15.  And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. 16.  And he causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17.  And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Revelation 19:20.  Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.

Job 40:15.  Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eats grass as an ox. 16.  Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly. 17.  He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together. 18.  His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron. 19.  He is the chief of the ways of God: he that made him can make his sword to approach unto him. 20.  Surely the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play. 21.  He lies under the shady trees, in the covert of the reed, and fens. 22.  The shady trees cover him with their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about. 23.  Behold, he drinks up a river, and hastes not: he trusts that he can draw up Jordan into his mouth. 24.  He takes it with his eyes: his nose pierces through snares.

Abaddon (Apollyon) the Seraph Dragon

Revelation 9:11.  And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon (Father of Hades), but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.

Genesis 3:1.  Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made.

Genesis 3:14.  And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly (dewinged) shalt thou go, and dust (people) shalt thou eat (consume) all the days of thy life: 15.  And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; he shall bruise thy head, (Jesus) and thou shalt bruise his heel.

The heel being bruised is represented by the saints of God in the end days of great tribulation soon to come upon all who dwell upon the earth.

Isaiah 14:29.  Rejoice not thou, whole Palestina, because the rod of him that smote thee is broken: for out of the serpent's |5175| nachash  root shall come forth a cockatrice |6848|tsepha`, and his fruit shall be a fiery flying serpent. |8341| shashah  to sixth or divide into sixths: |5774|`uwph  to fly

This is a six winged seraphim.

I believe he was dewinged and inhabited the body of Pharoah.

Daniel 7:3.  "And four great beasts came up from the sea, each different from the other. 4.  "The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings. I watched till its wings were plucked off; and it was lifted up from the earth and made to stand on two feet like a man, and a man's heart was given to it. (Pharoah)

These are the good and faithful seraphim which surround the throne of God in heaven shown in the book of Revelation.

Revelation 4:7.  The first living creature was like a lion, the second living creature like a calf, the third living creature had a face like a man, and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle.  8.  And the four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying: "Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!''

Matthew 12:24.  But when the Pharisees heard it they said, "This fellow does not cast out demons except by Beelzebub, the ruler of the demons.''

Revelation 9:11.  And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.

Strong's Number: 2070 Transliterated: zbuwb Phonetic: zeb-oob' Text: from an unused root (meaning to flit); a fly (especially one of a stinging nature): -fly.

Strong's Number: 6632 Transliterated: tsab Phonetic: tsawb Text: from an unused root meaning to establish; a palanquin or canopy (as a fixture); also a species of lizard (probably as clinging fast): --covered, litter, tortoise.

Strong's Number: 7726 Transliterated: showbab Phonetic: sho-bawb' Text: from 7725; apostate, i.e. idolatrous: -- backsliding, frowardly, turn away [from margin].
Beelzebub has been improperly interpreted as Lord of the Flies. Properly interpreted would be Lord of the Flying. Meaning:  the flying fallen angels such as the Seraphim and Cherubim.

Isaiah 7:18.  And it shall come to pass in that day that the Lord will whistle for the fly that is in the farthest part of the rivers of Egypt, and for the bee that is in the land of Assyria.  19.  They will come, and all of them will rest in the desolate valleys and in the clefts of the rocks, and on all thorns and in all pastures.
Waters, rivers, streams, and the sea are symbolically indicative of Satan’s children whose human bodies are made up mostly of water.

Ezekiel 29:2.  "Son of man, set your face against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and prophesy against him, and against all Egypt.  3.  "Speak, and say, `Thus says the Lord God: "Behold, I am against you, O Pharaoh king of Egypt, O great monster who lies in the midst of his rivers, who has said, `My River is my own; I have made it for myself.'  4.  But I will put hooks in your jaws, and cause the fish of your rivers to stick to your scales; I will bring you up out of the midst of your rivers, and all the fish in your rivers will stick to your scales.  5.  I will leave you in the wilderness, you and all the fish of your rivers; you shall fall on the open field; you shall not be picked up or gathered. I have given you as food to the beasts of the field and to the birds of the heavens.  6.  "Then all the inhabitants of Egypt shall know that I am the Lord, because they have been a staff of reed to the house of Israel.  7.  When they took hold of you with the hand, you broke and tore all their shoulders; when they leaned on you, you broke and made all their loins shake.''  8.  `Therefore thus says the Lord God: "Surely I will bring a sword upon you and cut off from you man and beast.  9.  "And the land of Egypt shall become desolate and waste; then they will know that I am the Lord, because he said, `The River is mine, and I have made it.'  10.  "Indeed, therefore, I am against you and against your rivers, and I will make the land of Egypt utterly waste and desolate, from Migdol to Syene, as far as the border of Ethiopia.

Ezekiel 32:1.  And it came to pass in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, on the first day of the month, that the word of the Lord came to me, saying,  2.  "Son of man, take up a lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and say to him: `You are like a young lion among the nations, and you are like a monster in the seas, bursting forth in your rivers, troubling the waters with your feet, and fouling their rivers.'

Ezekiel 29:3.  Speak, and say, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great serpent (tanniyn in Hebrew, thanatos in Greek, meaning death) that lieth in the midst of his rivers, which hath said, My river is mine own, and I have made it for myself. 4.  But I will put hooks in thy jaws, and I will cause the fish of thy rivers to stick unto thy scales, and I will bring thee up out of the midst of thy rivers, and all the fish of thy rivers shall stick unto thy scales. 5.  And I will leave thee thrown into the wilderness, thee and all the fish of thy rivers: thou shalt fall upon the open fields; thou shalt not be brought together, nor gathered: I have given thee for meat to the beasts of the field and to the fowls of the heaven.

Revelation 9:1.  And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. 2.  And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. 3.  And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.

Locusts are symbolically indicative of Satan’s flying angels.

Revelation 9:7.  And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men. 8.  And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions. 9.  And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle. 10.  And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months. 11.  And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.

Isaiah 27:1.  In that day the Lord with His severe sword, great and strong, will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, Leviathan that twisted serpent; and He will slay the reptile that is in the sea.

Job 41:1.  "Can you draw out Leviathan with a hook, or snare his tongue with a line which you lower?  2.  Can you put a reed through his nose, or pierce his jaw with a hook?  3.  Will he make many supplications to you? Will he speak softly to you?  4.  Will he make a covenant with you? Will you take him as a servant forever?  5.  Will you play with him as with a bird, or will you leash him for your maidens?  6.  Will your companions make a banquet of him? Will they apportion him among the merchants?  7.  Can you fill his skin with harpoons, or his head with fishing spears?  8.  Lay your hand on him; remember the battle never do it again!  9.  Indeed, any hope of overcoming him is vain; shall one not be overwhelmed at the sight of him?  10.  No one is so fierce that he would dare stir him up. Who then is able to stand against Me?  11.  Who has preceded Me, that I should pay him? Everything under heaven is Mine.  12.  "I will not conceal his limbs, his mighty power, or his graceful proportions.  13.  Who can remove his outer coat? Who can approach him with a double bridle?  14.  Who can open the doors of his face, with his terrible teeth all around?  15.  His shielding rivers are his pride, shut up tightly as with a seal;  16.  One is so near another that no air can come between them;  17.  They are joined one to another, they stick together and cannot be parted.  18.  His sneezings flash forth light, and his eyes are like the eyelids of the morning.  19.  Out of his mouth go burning lights; sparks of fire shoot out.  20.  Smoke goes out of his nostrils, as from a boiling pot and burning rushes.  21.  His breath kindles coals, and a flame goes out of his mouth.  22.  Strength dwells in his neck, and sorrow dances before him.  23.  The folds of his flesh are joined together; they are firm on him and cannot be moved.  24.  His heart is as hard as stone, even as hard as the lower millstone.  25.  When he raises himself up, the mighty are afraid; because of his crashings they are beside themselves.  26.  Though the sword reaches him, it cannot avail; nor does spear, dart, or javelin.  27.  He regards iron as straw, and bronze as rotten wood.  28.  The arrow cannot make him flee; slingstones become like stubble to him.  29.  Darts are regarded as straw; he laughs at the threat of javelins.  30.  His undersides are like sharp potsherds; he spreads pointed marks in the mire.  31.  He makes the abyss boil like a pot; he makes the sea like a pot of ointment.  32.  He leaves a shining wake behind him; one would think the abyss had white hair.  33.  On earth there is nothing like him, which is made without fear.  34.  He beholds every high thing; he is king over all the children of pride.''

Here is a list of some names given to the evil spiritual beings:

Devil, Satan, Dragon, Serpent, Lucifer, Beast, Heylal, Beezebub, Apollyon, Abaddon, Wormwood, Behemoth, Leviathan, Wild Ass, Mountain, Accuser, Deceiver, Destroyer, King of Babylon, King of Assyria, King of Tyre, Pharoah
These are very powerful evil beings who we are not to battle on our own and we are not to make reviling accusations towards but we can expose their evil deeds by the power and might of the Holy Spirit and learn of their deceitful plans and ways in the Holy Scriptures.

Jude 1:9.  Yet Michael the archangel, in contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a reviling accusation, but said, "The Lord rebuke you!''

The good news is that we have the Almighty Father, his son and our Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit which is seven spirits, and the entire 2/3 hierarchy of Angels and created spiritual beings who will always remain with us eternally on our side. Apollyon, Lucifer, Wormood, the three reptile-like creatures and all fallen spiritual beings along with all people who practice evil upon the earth shall be thrown into the Lake of Fire for eternal torment as we are avenged for the hurt they caused us on earth.

Revelation 19:20.  Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.

Revelation 20:10.  And the devil, (dragon) who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

We can deduce that Abaddon aka Apollyon, the king of the bottomless pit, is the dragon seraph because the beast and false prophet were thrown into the lake of fire before hand as evidenced in Revelation 19:20. Only he has the power and authority to kill the two witnesses who stand for the Lord in Jerusalem in the time of great tribulation after they finish their testimony.

Revelation 11:3.  "And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.''  4.  These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands standing before the God of the earth.  5.  And if anyone wants to harm them, fire proceeds from their mouth and devours their enemies. And if anyone wants to harm them, he must be killed in this manner.  6.  These have power to shut heaven, so that no rain falls in the days of their prophecy; and they have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to strike the earth with all plagues, as often as they desire.  7.  Now when they finish their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit will make war against them, overcome them, and kill them.  8.  And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

For those of us who overcome, our reward is:

Revelation 21:1.  And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea.  2.  Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.  3.  And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be with them and be their God.  4.  "And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying; and there shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.''  5.  Then He who sat on the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new.'' And He said to me, "Write, for these words are true and faithful.''  6.  And He said to me, "It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.  7.  "He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.

Alleluia and amen forever. Praise God!
